Roma and Naingolan are seeing if they can negotiate a deal today. If this doesn't fall through he'd be available for Unired. He would be the absolute perfect link in midfielder IMO.

I just don't want anyone else, man. Not feeling it at all. I feel like we have a decent team already. Our first priority should be getting a top spot in the league. Introducing new players into the squad will just further set us back.

Nah, Nainggolan is a Kante caliber CDM.

I love Carrick, but Nainggolan would bring a whole new dimension to our team.

If we want to challenge for the league or hell probably even top 4 I can't help but feel that we need a CB and a CDM at LEAST. That's if we want to challenge for top 4 this year since obviously the league is gone.

Hererra has done a good job so far, but we'd benefit so much from a Matic or a Wanyama or a Dembele back there, not that we can get a player of that calibre right now but still. We also need a CB in January for sure because with Bailly out (as well as the AFCON) and Smalling looking inconsistent we're relying on Rojo, Blind and Jones which sooner or later will not work out.

I think we'd benefit from Naingolan though. Right now the midfield isn't the issue but he'd certainly help out defensively.

We need a CDM who is calm and composed making passes out of the back while protecting the defense. Not another midfielder who runs around a lot and scores the odd worldie.

We are struggling because the our squad is lacking.

Do you think a midfield with Kroos, Iniesta, and Pogba mixed with a forward 3 mixing of Hazard, Ronaldo, and Bale would struggle?

We are struggling because we don't have players we can really rely to score when Zlatan isn't firing on all cylinders, our defenders have been shaky all season, and because Carrick's age, it meant that we couldn't field him every week.

We lack players we can rely on.
