Steve Huffman should step down as CEO of Reddit
Steve Huffman, co-founder and CEO of Reddit has breached the security and trust of the community he created years ago. With past and recent controversies revolving around Huffman (/u/spez), it is clear that he is no longer fit to lead Reddit.
On November 23, Huffman admitted to breaking his bearing by childishly editing comments and hurling insults back at his own community, specifically members in /r/The_Donald. Congress has brought up Reddit being involved with censorship to protect Hillary Clinton during the on-going investigation of the email server scandal.
Just over a year ago, over 200,000 people came together calling for Ellen Pao's resignation due to censorship and lack of trust among the Reddit community. The Reddit community has lost their trust and faith in Steve Huffman due to the numerous controversies surrounding him along with the inability to conduct himself in properly as CEO. We are calling for Steve Huffman to resign as Reddit CEO.
We will not stop until we see action taken.
