Money and getttin' paid the fuck off is cool.. But as long as it buys you freedom.

I know a dude making 600k a quarter.

His (non working bitch ass of a wife with one kid and 2 nannies).. bitched him out over the summer cause she couldn't take the 2nd nanny on the trip.

No job. 1 kid. 1 fuckin nanny. And still raised hell.

Fuck that.

Sometimes it is better to be an Indian and not a Chief. Best to accept promotions carefully.

Most organizations try to fuck you over with a promotion anyway. They make you think they're doing you a big favor with a relatively small pay increase but they actually often more than double your responsibilities and the difficulty of meeting your annual achievement requirements.

Too often they appeal to ambition without any consideration for compensation. I threw away the tee shirt.

They also often bank on the idea that a man should feel he needs to hold a certain position (or have a certain level of income) by a certain age.

So, our ambitious lad hands his fate over to people who set him on their timeline? That would be the opposite of going your own way.

I've come to adopt a principal that I learned from every heist/theft/villain steals a bunch of money movie I've seen. If the crook/villain whoever just settled for a little bit less they would've gotten away with all of it, instead they went whole hog and got caught and jailed.
