Some /r/the_donald users were upset at one of the admins' recent decisions and started saying things like "fuck you /u/spez." This is visible in the following archive: https://archive.fo/TErOc

Note comments like:

(15 minutes old)

FUCK /u/spez

(12 minutes old)

'Member when reddit thought /u/spez would completely revamp this shitty website...

(9 minutes old)

YEAH FUCK YOU /u/SPEZ

All of these comments were archived after the 3 minute cutoff for edits that don't show up with an indicator that they've been modified.

The above comments now appear like this:

FUCK /u/Trumpshaker

YEAH FUCK YOU /u/AutoModerator

 

The names have been changed to moderators of /r/the_donald. As visible in this archive: https://archive.fo/73EOh or on the actual thread.

You can also turn CSS off and verify that the comments are changed and they don't have the edited symbol.

The Reddit admins are silently editing users comments when they personally disagree with their opinions. They've edited the comments to make other individuals the targets of the users' criticism.
