‘BROKEN PROMISE’: Breitbart Isn’t Happy About Trump’s Decision Not to Charge Clinton
After Republican president-elect Donald Trump announced he would press charges against former Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, alt-right Trump fansite Breitbart is none too pleased.
MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough first reported the news Tuesday morning. Shortly afterwards, Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway appeared on Morning Joe and confirmed that Trump had decided not to aggressively seek charges against Clinton.
When Breitbart reported on the confirmation from Conway, they placed the story on the front-page with the blaring red all-caps header, “BROKEN PROMISE.”
Breitbart is in a bit of an awkward position when criticizing Trump, given that executive chair Steve Bannon is expected to join the Trump administration as a senior White House counselor.
