What is a prototype?
A prototype is a preliminary model of something. Projects that offer physical products need to show backers documentation of a working prototype. This gallery features photos, videos, and other visual documentation that will give backers a sense of what’s been accomplished so far and what’s left to do. Though the development process can vary for each project, these are the stages we typically see:
Proof of Concept
Explorations that test ideas and functionality.
Functional Prototype
Demonstrates the functionality of the final product, but looks different.
Appearance Prototype
Looks like the final product, but is not functional.
Design Prototype
Appearance and function match the final product, but is made with different manufacturing methods.
Production Prototype
Appearance, function, and manufacturing methods match the final product.

Game We Dream About!
The projects aim is to start a new game with a magic wand with voice control and a movement sensor to make it as real as possible and to make a real life game where you can track your results, make magical duels with other players and much more with application for mobile devices, and to give children the opportunity to engage in activities such as playing laser tag with a magic wand. We want to give children and Harry Potter fans an opportunity to get something we could only dream about. Children will have the opportunity to use their imagination and adults will be able to feel young again.
What is the LaserWand?
The LaserWand is a wooden magic wand, which is used to play laser tag. The wand consists of a battery, a microchip, an accelerometer and all other necessary parts that make it work. LaserWand creates an infrared beam which is directed to the sensor thus confirming the hit and illuminates red.
What is laser tag?
Laser tag is a tag game played with lasers. Infrared-sensitive targets are commonly worn by each player and are sometimes integrated within the arena in which the game is played. Laser tag is popular with a wide range of ages. When compared to paintball, laser tag is painless because it uses no physical projectiles, and indoor versions may be considered less physically demanding because most indoor venues prohibit running or roughhousing.
Where to play?
You can play anywhere - home, garden, park, forest, castle - all depends on your imagination. For example, I am going to build a maze as in the Harry Potter movie where people could either fight for the cup or play a simple game in teams.
Material and tone
All our offered LaserWand types are made of wood, to maximize a real magical wand design and sense of reality. Wands are offered in different colors and from different types of wood. You can choose wand tone and material - beech, ash tree, oak, birch or linden (linden tree will be very soft).
LaserWand
LaserWand Type 3 - Cast spells with magic words or with a wave of a wand or both. Also you will be able to cast a shielding spell which will work like a transparent shield around you. A wireless connection via Bluetooth with your phone which will need to have the “LaserWand” app installed will allow you to track how you use your magic. (It`ll keep count how many successful shots you`ve taken and received, and your rank.) This all is possible with the app, but if you choose not to use the app, then that is absolutely fine, because the app is not mandatory. This is THE WAND you all are waiting for!
- Voice control for spell casting
- Motion sensor for spell casting
- USB Rechargeable
- Bluetooth
- Mobile application
- 5 spells
Sensor
Sensors –In this picture you can see a sensor chip that our specialists have designed in a simple yet genius way, just so you can put it in any clothing. When you are hit, the sensor detects it and turns red, sends a signal to the wand which disables spell casting for 30 seconds.
Our designers are now making sensor which is already built-in in patches.
Spells
There will be secret spell words for Harry Potter fans and all Kickstarter backers.
Evanesco – green – spell that will disable the player’s wand for 30 seconds not allowing to play until the 30 seconds have passed.
Expelliarmus - red – disarming spell, shuts off the opponent’s wand for 30 seconds, but allows him to continue playing.
Reduct – blue – only spell that can break a shielding spell, if you are hit with reduct while your shield is off, then it renders your shielding spell useless for 30 seconds
Lumen – light – spell that turns on a light, to shut off say Nox.
Shield – shielding spell, protects from spells. Is usable only if the player hasn`t been hit with the reduct spell.
Duels
Thanks to the wide array of magic spells to your use, it is possible to take part in duels 1 versus 1 against someone else. Great option for friends.
Application for Mobile Devices
The app will allow you to look up events nearby, set up your own, and or take part in the monthly or daily tournaments and the annual tournament. (Tournament – just how much points you have accumulated over said time. Day for daily etc.) You will have the option to choose one of the 4 teams you would like to join. The app will also provide a leveling system and a leaderboard.
Risks and challenges
The only risk is that you might not like this idea. Wooden products manufacturing engaged for 5 years. All electronics developed by people with more than 15 years of experience in various chip, remote controls and radio-controlled models creation.
