Let's say 145+ IQ is the bar for genius.

Going by that website, the rarity of 145+ IQ in China is equivalent to the rarity of 139+ IQ, which is 99.5338778217%

And the rarity of 145+ IQ in India is equivalent to the rarity of 163+ IQ, which is 99.9986645903%.

So there are around 16024~ people in all of India with 145+ IQ, give or take a few thousand maybe.

Conversely, a small Chinese city of about 5 million people has 23306~ people with 145+ IQ, again, give or take a few thousand maybe.

Now you can bring up malnutrition in India, but China has a bit of the same problem where the inland provinces only report 100-110 IQ, whereas the developed east coast provinces like Zhejiang report 115 IQ.

So, going by purely utilitarian metrics, India is actually a burden to human progress, as it requires too much to produce too little. The same resources required to sustain the entire Indian population would be better diverted to sustaining a second Chinese homeland, with a few million Brahmin Indians working in the periphery.
