Unsanctioned edits of artwork is like pirating video games, except even less impactful because the original artists of all the pictures being edited weren't getting paid anyway. There's literally nothing wrong with it until you start putting content-creators on a pedestal like they're untouchable gods. That only leads to a community flooded with mediocrity because artists start thinking they don't need to be held accountable for the quality of their work. Look no farther than furries if you need an example of that.

I suppose you think removing the censoring from an image is just as disrespectful to the artist?
