Well, Trump will be our president and republicans will have a lot of power. There's not much we can do about that.

But I feel like I should be doing something to help the country, to help keep civil and human rights protected, to make peoples' lives better, and to combat the alt-reich. What are some ways for a common person to make a positive, progressive impact?

This isn't going to be popular, but I'd say subscribe to publications you feel have provided good analysis and investigative journalism over the past year or so.

The Guardian and WaPo I've signed up for.

Radicalization is happening. Don't be silent while it's still comfortable for you. Keep hi lighting the hypocrisy.

Do what you can to help attacked groups also. Volunteer. Donate. Get involved in local politics. Ask questions
