ODESSA, TX- UPDATE:
CBS 7 is learning more about the case surrounding two Odessa parents who are now in jail after their six-year-old daughter made outcries of sexual abuse. CBS 7 has obtained the arrest affidavits for both Jeramy and Ruth Sanchez. Both documents reveal disturbing details of alleged sexual abuse against their little girl.
According to the arrest affidavit for Jeramy Sanchez, Odessa Police were contacted on April 12th about a report of a 6-year-old girl who made an outcry of abuse against her father.
The report states that the little girl was acting out in class by asking classmates is they ‘wanted to have sex like boyfriends and girlfriends.’ The students told their teacher and the teacher talked to the girl about her comments.
The affidavit states that the little girl told the teacher what her father had allegedly done to her and a report was made.
On Tuesday, April 12th the little girl was interviewed at the Child Advocacy Center. During the course of the interview, she told them her father had shown her a movie where a man and woman were having sex and told her that is what boyfriends and girlfriends do. The 6-year-old then told them her father asked her if she wanted to make their own movie. She told her father no, according to the arrest affidavit.
The affidavit states that her father then sexually assaulted her.
The arrest affidavit for Ruth Sanchez states that on one occasion that the little girl’s brother had heard her father assaulting his sister and told their mother about it.
Ruth Sanchez was interviewed at the Odessa Police Department where the affidavit says she admitted to being told by her son about the assault and confronted Jeramy about it. She told police he apologized and promised he would never do it again.
The document goes on to say that Ruth did not remove her daughter from the situation and failed to report the sexual assault to law enforcement, which is a state jail felony.
Jeramy Sanchez is charged aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Ruth Sanchez is charged with endangering a child.

Jeramy Sanchez, 28, and Ruth Sanchez, 31, have been arrested by police after a six year old made an outcry of sexual abuse. Odessa Police say that Jeramy Sanchez has been arrested for aggravated sexual assault of a child and Ruth Sanchez was arrested for endangering a child.
Both were arrested Tuesday night after police were able to establish enough probable cause for their arrests. With the help and support of local CPS and Harmony Home Children’s Advocacy Center, the children involved in this case have been placed in a safe environment pending the outcome of the investigation.
According to police the investigation is on-going and more charges are pending.
