True or not, some banks now are catering separately to senior citizens and differently abled. Also some mannered queues are considerate and allow the elderly to skip ahead.

I think the retraction is only about the bank outside which he died. Not about the whole news itself. He might have died in some other bank. Since they didn't retract the rest of the news, I'm assuming they stand by it.

Honest question: Why the frown?
I understand we all hate TOI to the core, but the error is that the person did not die near HSBC bank as it was reported the day earlier. They corrected it by saying they reported false info. Was there any blame on HSBC in the original article?

Might be HDFC instead of HSBC. A person died still. Does it matter which bank he died in front of?

It does not matter. But my question is why is this circlebashing of TOI over this matter? TOI does a lot of shit that warrants bashing, but I don't get the logic in this thread.

The original report was on Page 2 and I am assuming with bold title, so people read in bold that a guy died near HSBC ATM while no one is going to read the small apology on Page 7.

Dude, read the article - he was not even in the line. He was near an SBI bank when he collapsed.
