A foul doesn't have to be strong enough to bring you down to be a foul. If they're very clearly impeding your movement with zero intention of playing the ball it's a foul. Similar to pulling back on a players shirt.

I was arguing with a friend that it was an obvious pen, but the more replays I see, the less convinced I am. I still lean that it is a pen, but I need to see more angles/replays.

Edit: during the half I got to see the pundits analyze it. That's a pen, not an overly strong one, but a pen.

Neville said they same. They're all so hung up about whether it's enough to bring him down or not when that's no the determinant of whether it's a foul or not. Unfortunately players have to go down to make it clear to the ref that there's contact. The few times a player is whacked and stays on their feet but it still ruins their run they never get a pen but you end up with all the pundits saying he should've just gone down for the good of his team. They hypocrisy is crazy.

Overall I'm pleased with our level of play in the first half. Much better than I was expecting.
