Brazilian right-back's agent arrives for United talks

The agent of Corinthians and Brazil Under-20 left-back Guilherme Arana held talks with Manchester United this week.

The 19-year-old impressed a number of Premier League clubs when he played for Brazil's Under-20 side against England earlier this season.
He has also been linked to Tottenham and Sporting Lisbon but Corinthians only own 40 per cent of his rights, having sold off the majority to agent Fernando Garcia's company Elenko Sports.

A representative of that company is currently in the UK and posted a photograph on social media which showed he was at Manchester United's London office.
That has led to speculation of a possible move for the left-back - a position Jose Mourinho is keen to strengthen - in the January transfer window.
However, United would have to overcome the joint-ownership issue and prepare to fight to get the player a UK work permit, given that he is still uncapped by Brazil.
