Only one way they'll hear us. Boycott anyone doing business with him and his supporters.

Who's 'they' though?

The reason sandersforpres sub was actually helpful was because his campaign was grassroots based, his supporters were largely the same demographic as reddit users, and it was a positive atmosphere that inspired ACTION. There are protesters all over the country. Hell, there were protesters at my school all day today. My point is now this sub is just another group of people bashing Trump. It's not original, it's doing no good whatsoever, and it's only the people vehemently opposed to a Trump presidency that you're appealing to anyway.

A forum for discussion. A community. That's what this website is. A larger community with sub-communities, meant for discussing things with people who have similar ideas.

But you're obviously a troll.

I'm genuinely not. It just irritates me because this sub's intention is EXACTLY opposite of the_donald. So what makes us better than them?

[–]Sc2016 1ポイント2ポイント  (1子コメント)

Hey, so some of this stuff is satire and silly jokes. Some of it is discussion on what to do next, pointing out his lies and hypocrisies. Some discussion on the conspiracy theories, untruths, and witch hunts the_donald is currently pushing.

And yes some butt hurt that the system came out unequally this time around. She already has more than a million more votes than him and yes people are upset that their vote seemingly didn't matter. Can you really blame them at this point?

[–]PeaceBay[S] 1ポイント2ポイント  (0子コメント)

Oh absolutely. I was horrified watching the results come in live. But that's just how the system works, unfortunately. If Trump had lost despite the popular vote would we still be bemoaning the electoral college? Of course not.

I wouldn't mind if this sub lasted and grew for the next four years until we can elect a new president. Also, /r/Kamalaforpresident

I mean, is there no value in criticizing a president?

When did it become a thing where you couldn't do that? I realize Trump is a fascist and this WILL probably become illegal, but I think it's fine for now.

Criticizing the president is to be expected, and even healthy. The thing is he hasn't served a day in office yet. He's still the president-elect.

Yes, but there's plenty to criticize about Trump already.

THAT said, if you don't dig political commentary, jokes and whatnot, I understand how this could be a drag for you, though trump spam appears on the front page with far less frequency that the deplorables sub.

This is all about Trump now. Everything Trump does needs to be analyzed and discussed as Trump owns everything that happens. There's no blaming Dems, Libs or Obama as Republicans have full control. Also, just look at the idiots he's using as advisors and putting into his cabinet. Trump didn't even know he had to staff the west wing.
