Monogamy is completely unnatural, that's a large part of the problem (self.MGTOW)

A lot of the frustration men have towards women is based on the fact that the majority of women seem to be pathologically unfaithful. It doesn't matter how alpha you act, these days women cheating on you is almost an inevitability.

I think the problem is most people are still trying to live by these values of Christian marriage which is basically total monogamy and unfortunately such idealistic values run contrary to human nature, especially the nature of women.

Basically our whole society is built around a concept that is entirely false and unworkable in reality, especially in a permissive liberal society that does not punish cheating.

I have read that in non-Western countries without a Christian heritage cheating is typically regarded as more acceptable and expected because they do not recognise the concept of monogamy in the same way Western Christian societies do. This is especially the case in some Asian and African countries.

I think the culture is encouraging women to stray. But, I can't think of anything better to raise children than lifetime hard monogamy.

It's not unnatural in a society that values family and community above all else.
This controls and shames any women's wish to ride the CC in favour of keeping a family together to bring up the next generation - while ensuring they are actually the hard working father's offspring.

We have not learned from ancient teachings about the defects in women - Western society has empowered wymin too much and now we are seeing the consequences. The future is not looking good

Yes, but the problem is many women WILL want to ride the CC, and the only way to stop them is a strong family, community and social values that shames them for doing so and comes down on them like a ton of bricks if they step out of line.

As I see it that is society having to use force to override the natural instincts of most women, which is to fuck all the Chads they can.

What I am essentially saying is that it seems the majority of women by default don't want to be in a monogamous relationship and uphold strong family values, they have to be forced into it by society until they comply.

Women can choose to be faithful. They choose to cheat.

Civilzation was built upon manogamy. Why would a man work hard to provide for a child he didn't know was his.

Civilization is the taming of human nature; if we did everything because it was "natural", we'd still be living in mud huts. Monogamy is a fundamentally necessary concept in building a stable society because it pacifies the majority of men and invests them directly into its success.

No, in fact its much easier for women to adopt a monogamous society because it grants two very important things: safety and stability for herself and her children. There's no point in getting the best genetic seed you can when that kid will likely die before or during birth due to pregnancy complications and lack of sanitation, during their first year to disease and cold, or before they hit adulthood from war and starvation.

No, we're currently living in the ruins of an old society and everyone has resorted back to their natural impulses and are trying to fend for themselves. If we were living in a stable society, where people were raised with the proper values and adulterers were actively shamed and ostracized, you wouldn't be seeing the level of cheating you see today.
