Well, toward them. They want to be able to say whatever they want about whomever they want without being labeled or derided for it.

I mean it's not like I can't level that accusation toward a lot of groups. The group that won the election is just out in force strapped with assault-capacity "Told yeah so"s.

Nobody should be free from being labeled for the offensive shit they say. We have to realize that there are a lot of really, really sensitive white people who don't see themselves as racist even if they say, do, and vote with racist tendencies. And it really hurts their feelings when they get accused of it or see people drinking "white tears".

Because you know who really, really wants to recruit and unite sensitive, vulnerable white people? White supremacist groups. And they know how to recruit, and people who feel like they are unfairly being labeled racist are ripe fruit.

I think we should try to bring back some of the 90's togetherness. We should be willing to accept criticism for the shit we say, and at the same time when we criticize others for saying what we think is offensive, we should start with the assumption they want to be our friends/allies and try to explain why what they said is offensive instead of just labeling them and walking away.

It sucks, because it's a lot of work to try to relate with people who hold beliefs you find offensive.
