His website

The photos are published his book REUNIONS

REUNIONS by Chris Porsz is unique. Chris has spent the last few years tracking down hundreds of the amazing people he photographed in the 1970s, 80s and 90s. Some were easy, some were hard, some were impossible to find.

When he was successful, Chris arranged a reunion at the location of the original photograph and took another picture. This book is an incredible collection of those pairs of photographs with text from writer Jo Riley telling the stories of the people in the photos.

Book available on his website

Dude with crutches is my favourite!

[–]Hausaa [

love is only thing that can keep you together at 90's still from the 40's

At 40+ you just stop giving fucks and keeping up the appearances. You just want to buy cheap warm shit which does not itch and scratch you.

At 40? Shit at around 23 I stopped buying anything except Levi and started eyeing up flannel shirts. 3 years ago I bought a Carhartt jacket and it is fucking awesome.

I wish I could wear flannels all year.

I would drape myself in velvet if it were socially acceptable.

My father does. He just cut off the sleeves..... Doesn't look great but got to be comfortable

[–]Xyliss [

You can do whatever you want! Rock those flannels, don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

I only wear them in cold weather because I get hot way too easily. Nothing to do with any fashion norms.

Living in the Northeast, I get a solid 6-8 months use out of my Carhartt jacket every year. Easily one of my best purchases ever

Carhartt is a pretty high end brand. Feel like this isnt a good example of not caring what you look like now

I also think Carhartt is stiff and scratchy, not known for comfort more for rugged.

He said jacket and the jacket is indeed quit comfortable due to being so stiff. Once you break in the elbow wrinkles they're more than fine.

[–]Nezell [

Levi's arent really that cheap but they are the best pair of jeans that Ive ever owned.

All of my favorite jeans have been Levi's. No comparison in comfort and fit.

No, Chanel or Dior is a high end brand peasant

Except Carhartt is seriously trendy... And not cheap, so not really like what that guy was talking about.

Same here. Everything I wear now is lucky brand. They're so comfortable.

yo man, Carhartt is stepping up their fashion game

I STILL dress the same way I did 40 years ago.. Graphic Tshirt, chuck taylors/doc martens, jeans , flannel, leather jacket
the wife hates it, but when your comfortable your comfortable

[–]Ikinoki [

Man you were probably born 40yo. Like Nick in New Girl "Get off my lawn!"

TIL I'm 40+ while being 24. Is there any kind of MILF-section for men? If so, I'd like to join!

Or how does that work?

They fought the law and the law won.

They didn't sell out, they bought in.

These guys might ideologically still be punk as fuck and just dont feel the need to let that transpire through their attire anymore. Maturing and all, y'know.

His care in leather changed.

At age 20 you care about how you look, at age 40 you stop caring about how you look, and at age 60 you realise nobody really cared about how you looked.

[–]Deskbot [

Thats because at age 60 you forget how judged you were trying to find work.

They still look pretty stylin to me. Dude's wearin two button-up shirts over and a sweet cut-off leather vest. Girl's button up is pretty dope for a 50 year old, textured, with flared cuffs. Beats the hell out of pant suits.

I agree. the flair for fashion hasn't faded, just taken a back seat lol

Maybe I'm the exception, but I'm in my 40s and I still care. I don't follow all fashion trends but I make sure my clothes have a modern fit.

I also work out regularly. I want to stay attractive for my wife (and healthy for my young kids). I also have an outward facing effective role. People may not like it, but how you look matters and attractive people (yes, men too) are treated better then people who don't takes care of themselves.

People do care about how you look though, at least insofar as making friends, meeting girls, dating, meeting their parents, getting a job. So yeah, basically every aspect of life.

All I see is relationship goals

They may not have necessarily stayed together for 40 yrs. I can't verify because the site's gotten the Reddit hug, but check /u/yosoyreddito's post:

She still likes color and he still likes leather.

You used to look like hooligans from a batman movie.

What a cute couple! I'm dying to know the story here!!

Anne and Archie settled down

No matter what kind of rebel you are, in the end you become the boring drone society wants you to be.

This is amazing. If I look at my photo 40 years ago, the only difference that you will see a big beer belly and a bald head.

This photo could be summed up into one song by the always excellent Frank Turner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaLmmE2hVI4

That's my plan too. I'm gonna be bald someday, and when that starts happening, I'm shaving it all off forever. Until then, it's crazy, dyed hair!

So there is hope for the Clinton Crybabies! I hope so...

The colour drained from her hair to her sleeves!

this makes me not want to grow up ...

Been married 39 years now, her smile still makes me feel good. Hit a home run by talking to the girl by the toaster at the rush party

if you used to be punk you never were.

may be maturity in 40 years

[–]Spodson [

They still look like they raise some hell.

Honestly not much, she still looks pretty punky brewster

IMHO, women tend to age faster than men and this picture is a clear indication of that.

Or is it because they wear a ton of makeup at a younger age making them look even younger, then as makeup usage lowers, outer age catches up with real age.

Didn't make much of a difference for him besides loss of hair... But for her... Time was not so kind to her

Quite sad that women age so horribly.
