What Trump policies do you support? I don't mean that hyperbolically. He literally holds multiple positions in the same paragraph.

I believe in lower taxes on small businesses, see how I own one.

I believe in true change in government. His presidency will usher in a new era of government, that doesn't require you to be a lifetime politician to run and win. Heck, if can run, why can't Tom Hanks? Lol

I believe in negotiating trade deals that benefit American workers.

I also believe in rebuilding our countries infrastructure, and fixing our inner cities. Something he promised in his acceptance speech.

I'll be the first one to help organize a fight against the Whitehouse, if he goes after DOMA. As a gay Republican, life ain't exactly easy when talking to my own party members.

I would support this as well if I believed it were true. Trump isn't draining the swamp. He is the swamp. Know how he called Goldman Sachs' Jamie Diamond "The worst banker in America" while rumors were Clinton might make him treasury secretary? I agree! Keep that guy miles away from government. Oh wait, guess who the Trump camp just asked if he would like to be treasury secretary... That's just one example. His administration is being stocked with people you should (rightly) hate.

This was always his best message and one that did real damage to Clinton during the debates IMO. What scares me is there is a reason we tend to go with people who have experience in government and diplomacy. There is a real chance Trump pulls us out of agreements making us an international pariah. Trump isn't even a successful business man. I know he has told us he is smart for all the bankruptcies and lawsuits he has been involved in but you know what would be smarter? Not going bankrupt and being constantly caught up in lawsuits. He would actually be sued more but he really is smart. He stiffs contracters, paying them just enough that it isn't worth taking him to court. He finds the amount where the legal fees would cost more than what is owed.

Will we ever have a discussion of where tax rates should be? Republicans have been the party of sweeping tax cuts for over 40 years. Tax has become a dirty word.

All he needs is one of the 4 liberal Supreme Court justices to die or retire and when a new case comes up Roe v Wade and Gay Marriage are gone. Public Sector unions as well. Those actually would have died this summer except Scalia's death made it 4-4 not 5-4. The justices Trump put forward during the campaign had conservatives salivating. They will tear those things down.

Curious about a few things, so thank you for giving me the opportunity to have a rational discussion:

1.) How have you voted in past elections? Have you always been Republican, or was this a recent change?

2.) What did you base your voting decision on, and why did that policy/position tip the scale in his favor for you personally?

3.) Trump said a lot of things that he will not be able to do (because they are unconstitutional, because it is impossible to do, or because he just didn't speak the truth about his intentions) - what you you expect him to be able to legitimately implement?

4.) Were you worried before about how his verbal rhetoric would stir up social tensions, or did you not expect his election to bring an element of fear to a lot of people?
