Whats up with the dehumanising of illegals? (self.EnoughTrumpSpam)

Yeah, I get they are illegals, I get that they committed a crime. Want to deport them? Fair enough. But please, why can't people stop dehumanising them? I constantly see comments about how Trumps comment on them being rapists is ok because he's talking about "illegal immigration" They are people too, and no one deserves to be dehumanised.

A forced deportation of millions of people cannot occur without massive human rights abuses. It's easier to ignore those abuses if you train people to not see them as human.

You can be imprisoned for up to 6 months and/or fined for being present in the United States illegally.

My understanding is that it is a civil offense, not a criminal one. I'm not a lawyer though, so I could be totally wrong.
