Even without that confirmation, it was obviously not happening. Ron never endorsed Trump. Trump values loyalty very highly, and he simply would not drag someone in who had no faith in him.

Don't get me wrong though. I love Ron Paul. He's just way too purist to work with someone like Trump.

We need Rand in the Senate, Ron would be great for treasury sec or Fed chairman but I agree that he is kinda old.

Actually, Trump can be really sneaky in the Senate. He could appoint Sessions and a few others from Republican controlled states to cabinet positions. Then the Governor's could appoint Trump loyal Senators in most instances. In theory at least.

The words freedom and Liberty were not used a lot in this election. As a libertarian minded person, this does make me sad. I voted for Trump to save the country. Extending an Olive branch to libertarians in this country would be a great gesture by PE Trump. Ron Paul is pretty much the modern icon of Libertarians. If he would take Tres. Sec. That would be amazing. Ron Paul's part time hobby is economics. LOL.

As much as I like him I don't think he'd be the best for the job. Although, I do think we should pick someone that Ron Paul would pick for the job.
