Going out to bars and running into women is an almost inevitable part of any man's night. It can be a meeting as simple as getting a drink with an old buddy without any intentions of finding a girl to bed that night, you will still normally encounter them.

So last night me and my friend went out to a bar in one of those urban-y spots to get a few drinks (I live in a major city that's mostly all there is here anymore). Of course as the night goes on, we are chatting it up, drinking, talking about all different subjects when lo and behold, two average looking women approach us.

They decide that they will start off the conversation with, "Hey we saw you two guys sitting here and it looked like you were pretty fun!" As you well know, women take two men enjoying themselves as a threat and it was a fire they needed to try put out right away.

"Yep. It was going pretty fun." I say to one of the harpies. They seemed to take offense to this and followed up with "Well, we wanted to come over and chat with you guys!" I noticed that their drinks were empty, because they placed them very obviously next to ours on the bar. After a while of me and my buddy not buying them drinks and trying to be as short as possible with them to end this underhanded confrontation, one of the chicks tells us "You guys are so aloof! Aren't you happy that two girls came up wanting to talk?"

Me and my buddy ordered another round of beers and went back to our originally scheduled conversation without entertaining the harpies anymore, leaving them standing there dumbfounded, drink-less, and and unable to process why they weren't able to carry out their shit tests with us. The whole bar started clapping and cheering us on.

Okay, that last part didn't happen.

The point of my story here guys is, even if you have zero intention of dealing with these kind of humans in the social public, they will still attempt to drag you down and ridicule you for not participating. Stay the course and realize that the other side of the fence is filled with land mines and you're going to step on one.
