I hate you and everything you stand for, /u/TheYellowRose. You banned my other account from /r/suicidewatch for posting a picture of my noose because the first reply was that I wasn't actually going to do it. You then banned me from a massive list of subs including /r/offmychest, /r/depression, /r/confession and /r/anger.

You're a disgusting SJW and taking over this subreddit would only make it harder for people that truly need help so you hair-dyed health-praising men-hating vegan Tumblrinas can continue to produce this illusion of a safe space on the internet.

You want a fucking safe space? You want to ban people you don't like from communities like /R/SUICIDEWATCH!? Make your own community, don't ruin the biggest one on the internet.

I can't really say that I agree with the fact that you incorporate a saferbot on /r/offmychest that automatically bans people based on their commenting on other subreddits. When in fact, some people just engage in some discussion and that not everyone who is apart of those communities are considered hateful bigots. Sure, I'm aware that some people from there have brigaded those subreddits, and I think it's terrible that they have. I agree with you that this is bad. But.. I don't think a saferbot is the solution. I think the better solution is simply more mods and more diligence to catch hurtful comments on that sub. THEN, yes. Ban them should they do it. Sure, a saferbot is a quick solution and it's easy, I'll give you that. But it's not exactly right. I hope you may reconsider the position of that bot and bring it up to the other mods there. Yes, there is /r/trueoffmychest and they do pretty well, but do we really need to divide more communities? I don't really think so. I'm not going to hate on you like others. I'm just asking that you reconsider your position.

In the case of subreddits that are active and have recent activity, we may require a combined karma threshold of 300+ specific to that subreddit for a user to be made a mod.

Instead, you give it to someone who has never participated in the subreddit at all and whose first action as moderator is to shut it down.

To be fair, they probably had no idea that's what /u/TheYellowRose was going to do. I don't know how well they generally vet these things either. TheYellowRose is a mod of many subreddits, which ordinarily would be a good sign, and nobody from RapeHaven posted anything here like "We've never even seen this person before."

But now that it's happened, is there a way to get the decision reversed? Or do the reddit admins just wash their hands of it?

It doesn't help that /r/RapeHaven is a topic that most would find controversial or triggering, but folks there were minding their own business and not hurting anybody. I would note, though, this apparent attempt at censoring the subject won't stop anything. If RapeHaven remains locked away, the people involved will just continue in a different subreddit. All this does is take away access to the post history that was there. I would ask that the people involved consider the circumstances and do the right thing here.
