If Schweini was a top 5 center mid in the world, Bayern never would have let him go for free. Better yet, they would have come for him now that's not getting played.
Rafael was unreliable as a right back and he hasn't been that great in France, Nani, even though one of my favorite players, was grossly inconsistent and now he's found his level, RVP was past it, Di Maria was a snake and didnt wanna fight for his place, Welbeck has been injured for the majority of the last 2 years and still a tossup whether he'll ever become a decent player.

Okay buddy. Sometimes on this sub I can't tell who is attempting to troll (and doing it badly) and who is serious.

Rafael, Nani, Van Persie, Di Maria, Welbeck

Rafael can't defend.

Martial's potential alone is enough reason to not have Nani in this team.

Van Persie can hardly move.

Di Maria left on his own accord, Van Gaal publicly said numerous times he did not want to lose him.

Welbeck is never going to be a top striker.

There will come a time when hopefully Van Gaal still won't be blamed for the deficiencies of this club.

Is it possible to require anyone who wants to make a post on this sub take a short IQ test before publishing it?

The further we get into this season, the less and less I blame van Gaal for the results of last season and the one before. I honestly now firmly believe the guy did well to do what he did with such an average squad.

I still think its right he went though, as his name became associated with boring football and he would have been unable to sign the names Mourinho did.
