Neither extreme is beneficial, both systems have its defects. There needs to be balance, and we need to come up with the right balance to protect the family, the centerpiece and measure of health of any nation.

They are both two sides of the same coin. Communism seems to replace the husband with the state as the head of the family. This way men, the most powerful and capable of people, are marginalized while the family is now controlled.

The correct form of socialism in my opinion is one that promotes family and strong family units, not one that makes people dependent on government. Neither extreme socialism nor capitalism can do this.
