They are spreading a bubble building technique on twitter, you can search it. Probably along the lines of trying to stop obsessing this issue for some days to recover mental health first. Good things you have loved ones, you should use this as a chance to enjoy life with family. As for safety, avoid walking or using public transit alone etc, actually pretty standard criminal avoidance measure that schools like to give out to students in unsafe areas. And remeber only a quarter of eligible voters voted for Trump so it is not over yet for america.

If you know a CBT specialist or clinical psychologist that is on twitter, then there's no need to go through possible 'man-in-the-middle' peeps/groups who might just troll and troll; until it feels like sucking a thick milkshake through a tiny straw to get the help or reassurance needed.

The great thing, but also bit of an issue w/ twitter (at least, imo) is that, as a social media platform, it isn't using the algorithm or webdesign found in facebook or youtube, so, that is to say, those other sms's encircle people/groups and brands/services at you. It's all info and data that can wash over people on twitter, esp. if you go by their trends or search key terms..

(... And, the backdoor data mining those companies implement to trace all user's behavior is bad for our individuality in general, but I digress ... )

p.s. I'll also add, just find an activity and ritual you find calming/relaxing. And, exercise and be proactive since a cardio system has been linked to less depression in some (results may very, tho)
