Fliers circulated around one Texas university’s campus Wednesday claim President-elect Donald Trump’s victory means it’s time for “tar & feather vigilante squads” to “torture deviant university leaders.”

As anti-Trump protests were organized around the U.S., Texas State University police told the Austin American-Statesman they were investigating reports of threatening fliers by alleged Trump supporters. The newspaper obtained a photo of a flier that had reportedly been one of many posted around campus.

"Now that our man Trump is elected and Republicans own both the Senate and the House — time to organize tar & feather vigilante squads and go arrest and torture those deviant university leaders spouting off all this diversity garbage,” the flier reads. The text is placed next to a photo of five men wearing camouflage standing in front of an American flagpole. Some of them are armed.

The Dallas Morning-News reported that another flier suggests turning the Rio Grande River into a moat full of alligators, snakes and piranhas to snatch and eat illegal immigrants from Mexico. The flier suggests the “gladiator spectacle” be broadcast on webcams.

A third flier criticizes diversity as a “detriment” to the well-being of white people.

“‘Multiculturalism’ and ‘diversity’ are code-words for white genocide,” it said.
