In the biggest upset since Bush vs Gore, Donald "You're Fired!" Trump defeated 1 to 5 odds, becoming the 45th President of the United States. The last 24+ hours has been a crazed mixture of tears of joy and tears of broken dreams, panicked friend circles and just plain silence. So many of us never believed a man with no experience, a big mouth, and an endless well of controversy had a chance at victory. But America has spoken.

Don't get me wrong, I still won't support Trump. I think his tax plans and military bravado harken back to the Bush years. His plans to gut the EPA are absolutely short sighted. The damage he could do to this country can trail on for years. But if nothing else, it is a back-handed bitch slap that the ideological left had coming. Clinton wasn't saved by a rainbow of minorities - she was defeated by working class white men.

When comparing the 2012 and 2016 election results, the most stark contrast is the loss of states in the northeast/midwest area. Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin all flipped from blue to red. This line of states very closely matches the "Rust Belt" region - a realm of urban decay, once prosperous manufacturing jobs moving overseas and leaving thousands of uneducated workers in rags. And these workers overwhelmingly chose Trump as their personal savior - the uneducated white had a 39 point margin for supporting trump. And that's not even counting the 12 point margin men favored him. With some wins marked by a percent or less win, Trump would not have won without their support.

Yet did Hillary REALLY try to reach out to these people?

Look at the average Hillary Clinton ad. If you blink, you might miss the white guys. But you will find people of every race, gays, and of course, women at every turn. Meanwhile, white maleness was under constant assault throughout the election cycle. White men are allowed the sort of mockery that would be career ending if used on blacks or women. And a white man is unable to hold an opinion on foreign relations or gender without receiving the Scarlet B(igot). Want to maintain healthy borders to protect lower class jobs from illegal immigrants? RACIST! Worried about an influx of refugees for their toxic culture and lack of productive skills? ISLAMOPHOBE! Disagree with even one of a very long list of feminist policies? MISOGYNY! SLUT SHAMING! PATRIARCHY! It is suddenly a hostile world for straight white men with a backbone.

John Deer from Bumfuck, Michigan doesn't care about the controversy du jour. He's too busy trying to find a real job instead of his two full timers at Subway and Burger King to worry about some guy grabbing pussies. Families at Thanksgiving Dinners across America will be talking about the ghettofication of their neighborhoods or the rising risk of terrorism. And instead of addressing these concerns, the mainstream media employed the most popular liberal tactic - shaming. So when The Donald brings up these issues in a seemingly unfiltered fashion, they see him as a beacon of truth in sea of politically correct lies.

It doesn't matter if Trump is a misogynistic, racist homophobe, or if his voters are. The fact remains that the liberal strategy of crying and slamming their hands and feet on the ground ultimately blew up in their face. White men are tired of being the national villains for their political views. They're more concerned about where their next meal comes from than having a prolonged conflict with Russia. They're tired of illegals getting far better treatment and sympathy than natural born citizens. Instead of proving she takes the working white man seriously, Hillary focused on the demographics that were guaranteed to vote for her in the first place. And because they failed to identify with the layman, the democrats have lost it all. The Presidency, The House, The Senate, and soon The Supreme Court. Giving complete political control over military, environment, and social issues effecting 300,000,000+ people to their worst enemies.
