As you may know, Presidents (and in this case, Donald Trump) redesign the decor of the Oval Office, and have considerable leeway in their choices. Scuttlebutt around the recent meeting with Obama is that he intends to have MLK memorabilia removed.

Rumors should not be taken at face value, of course, but it would be worth looking into in greater detail, maybe asking about it if someone has access.

While this may be a partial symbol of his attitudes, I wouldn't make much of this.

Obama moved in a lot of the stuff because it symbolized to him the shoulders he stood on to get to the presidency.

Trump has the right to change his office and unless he throws those things out or brings in a statue of David Duke this seems to me to be a non-issue.
