Way back when Obama had about 20% of his term remaining, Republican Senators decided to block Garland because "The People" should decide the next nominee, notwithstanding the fact the People had already elected Obama president.
Well, the people voted (again), and the majority voted for Clinton. So is the Senate going to honor their commitment to listen to the people and approve the moderate Democratic nominee? Or by "the People" did they mean the Electoral College all along?
