How are you gonna fight a dark red government? They can do whatever they want, and we're stuck watching. Both houses of Congress are now majority Republican, and soon the Supreme Court will be too. Democrats can do literally nothing on a national level.

Vote in 2018. Vote in 2020.

Campaign locally. Go to every event of your local democratic party.

Protest. Advocate. Civil disobedience. The legal system.

We have to go back and start all over again. Time to break out the old ways, the ways of MLK and Malcolm and Huey Newton and RFK/JFK and Thurgood Marshall and Woodie Guthrie.

Yes. I live less than 15 minutes from Canada. Have been there multiple times. It is a beautiful country. I am so disgusted with America. Can't wait to "defect."

I am not a nationalist. I am a globalist. I considered myself to be a constructive patriot. I thought we could be the frontrunner for social rights, climate change, etc. I no longer believe that to be the case. At least not right now.

America needs about 20 years to heal - a.k.a., 20 years for the baby boomers to die out thus allowing millennials and younger generations to appoint a progressive supreme court - and until then, I'm just done with it.
