I am just posting this to say that y'all are some of the best people I have met. I was greeted with so much love and kindness here after she won the primaries and I came here from supporting Bernie, and y'all accepted me with open arms. I learned what an awesome candidate we had and I began supporting her with all of my heart. I was so ready to watch that glass ceiling get broken and unfortunately that didn't happen.

I will never forget the friends I have made here on /r/hillaryclinton and I don't want to lose y'all. You are the best America has to offer.

    This is the first post I have made on this sub and I'm doing it because I relate to how you feel. I'm a Muslim currently here on a student visa. I've been living in the US for over a year now, and last night was the first time I felt afraid for my safety. With all the things he has said about Muslims and immigration, I can't shake off this feeling that something terrible might happen to me.

    Man, I can't even describe how this feels. I'm not even a citizen of this country and I never imagined I would feel so impacted by this result.

      Well the Republicans didn't fold after 2008 did they? They fought back in local and state races.

      What you need to address urgently is why Dems only seem to vote in Presidential elections but Republicans turn out in all elections. It is as though Dems don't undertand their own constitution.

      Win some seats in the Senate and Congress, and get digging on Trump's Russian ties - should be a mother-lode there that you can use to impeach him, but you will only be able to do that if you take control of the Senate.

          I don't honestly see how. When the tripled ICE forces come in body armor and toting rifles and driving tanks to come arrest 11m people, how shall we protect them?           Trump made a lot of promises that he is unlikely to be able to keep; he may not try to keep that one.

With politics aside, I think it's also great to form a togetherness with our loved ones and our community (which includes LGBT), getting involved.             I'm still in pain. I'm still in shock. And I feel so bad for our girl. She did nothing wrong. Not a damn thing. The smear campaign by Fox/Breitbart took its toll. The polling industry will never be looked at the same.

            Thank you all so, so much from the bottom of my heart. We fought tirelessly to get Democrats elected up and down the ballot, and while yesterday was a setback, it was not the end.             My entire family votes straight Republican. They have been bashing my Facebook saying all the things Hillary Clinton wouldve done wrong, and all the things Donald Trump will do great. If anyone has a second to mock up a nice little rant/rebudle/factsheet for me that eould destroy them, it would make me incredibly happy. It can just be reasons why Trump's policies are non existent, or some of the ridiculous shit he's said and done during his campaign.
