Honestly, what the actual fuck? Fuck you so hard if you voted for his bitch made ass. Fuck you so hard if you could've voted and didn't. And fuck you twice as hard if you're a protest voter. Fuck everything.

Edit: So I was just messaged by the resident troll, subhuman, garbage swamp creature that always sends hate mail to the ladies of this sub. I guess I'm part of the club now. You've been blocked and reported kiddo and this is all the attention that you'll ever get from me.

This isn't a game. Goodness, all the idiots trying to make statements don't even get how serious this election is. This is exactly what America deserves. Y'all got what you wanted, and in four years I hope y'all aren't still dealing with "economic anxiety" or whatever bullshit we're calling white racism, sexism, and xenophobia these days.

Just proves that this country is dumb as hell. Smh.

Fuck you so hard if you could've voted and didn't.

THIS. SHIT. RIGHT. HERE.

[–]JasmineChaiUnited States of America 94

Take a good fucking look white liberals. That's what you get for getting too comfy in our progress (racism is over my black ass) and either not voting, voting third party, or otherwise not taking Trump seriously.

honestly, white people as a group can't be trusted. I just can't trust them.

because they will elect Obama then turn around and pull shit like this.

Why do they hate us so much? I just don't get it

It (the hate) reaffirms their identity. The hate is like a liquid and they absorb it like paper towels.

Me too hun. White people are fucking ridiculous. They're a hot ass mess and poc, muslims and LGBT+ have to pay the price. I'm legitimately scared for my life.

An extra "fuck you" to all the media folks (and you know what, 99% of us were complicit) who didn't take Trump seriously for the past year.

Also, so much for the fear mongering idea that sexual assault accusations ruin a man's career. Why, you can even become President!

So.. any non-americans here? Do you need a wife?

Lol I am also available, get me the fuck out of here

Yeah, things aren't going so great in my country (Brazil) either.

Ha! I know what your name means!

I've got an American family member staying with me at the moment (in Australia) and she's saying seriously that she doesn't want to go home. She also copped a lot of teasing about Trump prior to the election, as he's seen as mostly a joke here.

Do you need a new American family member¿ I can cook, even clean

Racism can go back out in the open now. Oh gods. One black man in office and they shit where they sleep, and burn the neighborhood down.

We're giving an ignorant white man child the codes to our nuclear arsenal. He gets the last call. I'm going to check the doomsday clock.

Racism has always been in the open. Not trying to put you, as an individual on the spot, but that is the mindset that got us here. Not seeing reality for what it really is.

You're right. Growing up I didn't recognize it. I felt it. I avoided people for a reason.

I think for us it has...for White people? I think this upsets a lot of their denial. They won't do anything, but it is upset.

Racism can go back out in the open now.

Sexism as well. Bragging about sexual assault is just petty locker room talk.

[–]RhinelandBasterdracial double agent 37

lol, I think we just got brexit-ed. Anyone know how the US dollar is doing of late?

[–]abieyuwawants to be a magical girl so bad

1usd = 0.89 euro. ive been reading that overnight stocks have tanked massively (as much as 700pts). not sure how true that is. we'll have to wait and see it in themorning

[–]abieyuwawants to be a magical girl so bad

minority turn out was high for this election. but trump still got a majority of the white vote. i hope they weren't counting on us to carry this election. i also hope the ones that voted for trump out of spite look into your poc friend's face and feel an unbridled amount of guilt and shame.

also heads up, the number of people watching this sub jumped dramatically after the trump win (from like 142 people to 400 people). im sure the mods are on it but just watch out for brigading.

FUCK WHITE PEOPLE

I really feel for all people of colour in America today. I was kinda following this sub because it's one of the bigger explicitly non-white ones.

I'm a hockey fan (Canadian). I seriously haven't been more let down by a group of white people since I saw the Leafs 2013 playoff run.

Canadian? Is your employer hiring and willing to sponsor or whatever the Canadian equivalent is?

Nah you're on your own man. It's over, it's fucking over.

Don't punish us for racist white voters!

Republicans won the house.

They won the everything

[–]Neighborhood_Coyote 22ポイント23ポイント  (3子コメント)

No one won.

[–]bakerowlNot the "whitest" black woman you know

Heterosexual cisgendered white men of a certain socioeconomic level won.

[–]by_neptunes_burd 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

I mean as someone in that group (white, male, presents het, married, six figure job, reasonably healthy), I sure as shit don't feel like I won. What a goddamn national embarrassment this has been. My wife (who is a person of color) has been crying all day and I worked from home because I couldn't deal with smarmy fucking looks from my deep south white as sin red as blood coworkers on this fucking day.

This is a nightmare. And maybe the worst part is that I know I'll be fine (in a limited financial sense) while other people suffer. People who are on the damn margin always have to bear the brunt of the shitty decisions of the privileged folks who see this shit as just a game, a hilarious fuck you to a distant elite.

I haven't been this goddamn angry since Kerry in 04.

Anyway, I'm sorry my fellow white people shat the bed today. Here's hoping they make some restitution in a couple of years at the mid term.

and senate.

and a Supreme Court nomination

In addition to Scalia's seat...

Justice Ginsburg is 83, just sayin'

We're super fucked.

As a white woman from the suburbs, I am so, so sorry. Our demographic fucked up. This is so terrible. Is it real? Sorry for rambling. I'm having a hard time coming to terms with this. This is not the America I want to be a part of. Please know that not all of us hate you. God, I'm so sorry. I can't believe it.

Any white people who are feeling bad about this need to look at their own communities. How many times have you (not you specifically) sat silent in the face of racism? Silence counts as affirmation. All white people need to kill racism where it lives, in their families and communities. If you keep silent because you don't want to rock the boat, honestly, eat shit.

I guess I didn't see it in my own community because I'm apparently living in an echo chamber. I'm not friends with any Trump supporters and I'm still in shock about this happening, and how this can be the America half of us want to live in. I voted and most of my friends voted and it seems like it didn't make a difference.

The only time I encounter the openly racist/"anti-PC" crowd is on social media and I've gotten into plenty of arguments with those people and I expect I'll continue to do so in the future, but they're totally convinced they're right and that all white people loathe "political correctness" in private and if you tell them otherwise, they'll just talk over you or accuse you of lying. The anti-PC movement associated with the Trump campaign has also targeted women and surburban white women are the biggest WTF demographic in this election, because apparently quite a few of them voted for a woman-hater...over a woman.

Your comment was valid and I want to do more to combat bigotry (not just racism) in my own community, but to do that I guess I'll need to expand more. I'm a student at a liberal college and a Millennial, hence the echo chamber. But God, I still didn't realize things were this bad. I have a couple friends who lean Republican who jumped ship because they couldn't stand the outright bigotry. I think my father did as well. And I made the mistake of thinking that was the norm when the white moderates and independents who voted for Obama were actually the ones crossing the aisle. I don't know what to do. I feel ashamed and powerless.

Race was a part of this election for a portion of Trump voters. As Whoopi Goldberg said, 'not all Trump voters are racist, but all racists are Trump voters.' But much of this is a backlash against the establishment and socio-economic inequality. The problem is that a lot of the undereducated White vote, which went heavily for Trump, doesn't realize that they have a lot more in common with poc than they do with upper-class Whites. And that is the brilliance of the elite. They've kept the working classes bent and separated on social issues that aren't important when compared to economic exploitation, government spying, etc.

Another white woman who lurks here: seriously though, this election has made me absolutely uncomfortable around white people. If you are around white people, like at least 1 in 20 is overtly racist. Another half won't admit it but will privately hold despicable views. I fear these views will be more out in the open now, so make that more like 5 in 20. The majority of the remaining will have varying levels of implicit bias and varying levels of acknowledgement of this bias. "And some, I imagine, are good people." As a gay person married to a poc, can Obama start his own country and can I join that one?

That is why its so important for white people to call out racism in all white groups. Usually, racists dont talk so openly in front of POC. But since we're white, they somehow assume we all think like them and speak honestly. They need to be called out by "one of their own".

You're exactly right. It's tricky though. These people are fed propaganda like all day every day. You try to argue with them, but they absolutely will assume you've been brainwashed "by the liberal media" and not listen to anything you say. I haven't had much luck.

[–]ParticularYouthCosas de Negras 14

Lol I'm so done! I'm so fucking done

[–]ParticularYouthCosas de Negras 13

I know how you feel. We just gotta make due with what we dont have. "Make a way out of no way."

Anyone know where I can get a legit BLM tee? I'm gonna wear it a lot.

And how about a D.C. meetup before Barack Obama leaves office?

[–]Explosive_DiaeresisBougie Brother 10ポイント11ポイント  (1子コメント)

So Black people are about 14% of the population, a little underrepresented, but pretty good turnout. Latinos are 17% of the population. About a third underrepresented.
I already see threads throwing Black people under the bus for this...

One of them just came in here and tried to blame it on Black, Hispanic, and Asian voters. They refuse to be held accountable for this shit.

Beat me to it.

I just hope black people are smart enough to stay out of the upcoming wars. Ain't nothing but an attempted genocide coming. Let's these whitey's fight.

I cannot believe the numbers of WHITE women that voted for that trash. What the actual fuck? I'm not even interested in the white tears. I can't handle it.

[–]bananasoireeSlidin' in those PMs like a Slip n' Slide

I don't understand why people are so surprised though. More than anything, white women want to protect their privilage as white people, so it makes sense that Donald's bigoted message of making American "great" again would resonate with them.

I made the pivotal mistake of letting my circle of people and social media chatter affect the way I assumed the vote would go.
