I disagree and think Bernie's populist, anti-corporate crony message can play well. We've had two straight presidents come in on a change message. People are hungry for it. If Trump fails, the opportunity is there for a different type of change.

The people who voted Trump were conservatives. They will never vote for a socialist. Otherwise how do you explain Clinton outperforming Russ Feingold significantly?

I guess some Clinton voters didn't vote for Russ Feingold. My idea is that if Trump's brand of change doesn't work, people will look for another. They ultimately want their lives to be better and have deep distrust for the establishment. A populist, anti-establishment message can work. Clinton lost many of the working class. This movement must speak to them.

On top of that, more old people resistant to the left will continue dying out, and more young people will replace them. We'll get there eventually.
