I posted this for my Facebook friends. Thought it might encourage y'all too.

Alright friends. It looks like our fate is sealed. But don't give up hope. We aren't quitters. We are Americans. We've survived being under the crown. We survived the Civil War. We survived two world wars. We prevailed through the Great Depression. We went through the Cold War and no one was nuked.

This will pass just like all of the above did. What's important now is that we hang together and be there for our friends and family in these times. We have to be strong. Don't give up, don't quit and keep your chin up.

Remember who you are. Chin up, straighten your back and march forward. We will survive. Love wins.
