Same here. I really don't know what to make of this madness. It looks like what the Bible said is coming true, and we are now witnessing the rise of the Anti-Christ (Hillary Clinton). My mind is blown. For 10 years, people have been posting Jay-Z Illuminati and Satanic videos on Youtube and I just thought it was conspiracy theory bullshit. After the Podesta e-mails, it turns out it was all true. My mind is blown right now.

Noah's Flood probably happened because a comet or meteor struck the polar ice caps ending the last ice age overnight and flooding the world with a sudden and massive deluge of water.
There's evidence for this. A fellow named Randall Carlson has shown, to my mind beyond reasonable doubt, that the end of the last ice age was indeed caused by this.

The Problem of Evil compels a decision really, that's what this comes down to. A lot of things, you can say, well, you know, they were raised in a bad environment, abused by somebody, they're in poverty, hooked on drugs, etc, etc, that's why they do bad stuff.

Athiest for as long as i can remember. No changes on my views on a god or anything. But i have come to have a greater appretiation for christianity (and other religions) this election.
This satanist/devil shit still makes me squirm though. Horror should stay in books and movies Not in the damn political and media establishment.

It makes me squirm because of the self mutilation and ritual sacrifice, or maybe the cannibalism and pedophilia. The media (horror movies, books, etc) also has an effect. Its irelivent to me whether the god or devil exists or not. They are trying to summon evil and are doing horrible things. Trying to summon evil, even if the evil doesnt exist is a big red flag on their mental state.

That said, I sometimes wonder about fundamentalist Christians and their end-times thinking. If JC is going to return and gather the flock of the righteous into eternal paradise and destroy the wicked at the end of days, why wouldn't Christians want to help this process along, and not slow it down?

There's a lot of split amongst Christians about how the end times is supposed to go down. We all agree it will be terrible beyond words. Some think we will be spared from it and raptured up. Others think we must suffer through it like everyone else. I'm in the latter camp and so I'm not looking forward to it.

Isn't there a division of Christian eschatology which thinks that a small percentage of people, who are SUPER RIGHTEOUS, will be raptured, but that everybody else, the average and the wicked, will have to suffer through...um... all kinds of crazy Hieronymus Bosch torments before the second coming?

So, that's actually the rationale behind some of these cults. That idea is called "Imminentizing the Eschaton." Basically using Satan to goad God out into a fight, thinking they can force the Messiah back to restore peace on Earth.
But God's got stuff to do, you know? He's got a plan. There's a time table for this stuff. He decides when the end of the world is, not us. We shouldn't be trying to end the world He gave us. Especially not by murdering, raping, and eating each other. Not even voting for other people to do that.
We're called to be basically good. Love and serve one another. The rest is in God's hands.

Nice. In some strains of Judaism, there's an idea that by following the commandments and doing acts of goodness and kindness you actually hasten the arrival of the messiah and the messianic age. These guys have taken it the furthest, indeed some have taken it waaaay too far for the comfort of most other Jews... but there's plenty of this idea in other groups.
