Forget all the scandals, for either candidate. Let's just agree that the truth is somewhere in the middle and call it a wash. Just take them out of focus for a few minutes.
We have a candidate who insists that he alone can fix things. The reaction to widespread disdain for this candidate is viewed upon as an asset, proof that the establishment is afraid of him. He viciously retaliates to dissenters. Again, this is seen as a strength.
Stop and think how this approach would translate to governing? If you insist that you're going to push through your plans while bashing everybody who is in a position to help you (or stand in your way), then how do you expect to be able to accomplish anything?
The only way you can is by eliminating the opposition.
A leader needs to cooperate, to bargain, and to compromise. Bullies have no place on this stage. Bullies become dictators. That's all they know how to be.
Political platforms aside, Trump's personality is dangerous. Do not allow him to be President. It will be a permanent stain on the nation.
