Contract same pay rate overtime (self.bestoflegaladvice)

I have a contract for a job in California that says that says:

"Contract Employee shall be paid at the rate of $66.00 per regular hour and $66.00 per overtime hour,"

I thought overtime usually pays more than regular. Quickly checking, is it legal to pay the same rate for overtime as for not overtime in California?
