Maybe Mourinho is not playing him to avoid international call up, and avoid further injuries risks. it seems everytime we are close to an international break the manager comes out and play down his fitness. He is considered to be the best player for their country. Its not a talent issue, we know he is good, maybe it is a fitness issue and if he was called up it will put him at risk again.

Here's my take. Mou's not impressed with his attitude. Mkhi came from a free flowing, attacking dortmund side. He had so much freedom, so much fun. Sure dortmund were high intensity and high pressing, but they were never as tactically demanding and rigid as we are.

Mou's side requires 100% focus and discipline in attack, possession and defense. Mkhi just lacks the focus and discipline right now.

He may be good at pressing and winning the ball, but perhaps he is very prone to concentration lapses?

Just like jones in van gaal's first season. He was like the best defender in europe based on some tackles won and interceptions stats. But he still makes a lot of mistakes that cost us.

Maybe mou prefers reliable 90 minute workhorses rather than world class players that switch off ocassionally?

I was the one defending Jose in the Mhki situation but now as time is going on i just sort of feel like maybe he's using Mhki as a scape goat and doing what he did with Salah with him which is such a shame because of his quality

Reality is, Mou doesn't like Mhki after Mhki was thrown under the bus in the city game. His first start was dreadful because it was against City, and ever since then, Mou doesn't think Mhki is good enough to even bring on a sub.

But Lingard was also a victim of the same game. But he bounced back. Do we really think mourinho will hold a grudge on one player for one game, and give another one a chance for the same reason
