Their conspiracies about Hillary being a satanist or running a child-sex ring almost want me to upvote the posts so that more people see their insanity.

...but then you remember that, as ridiculous as these stories are, a lot of people will see them and believe them.

Since they believe that ridiculous prattle then tell them this; Hillary IS a witch from hell ...and if you vote for Trump she's going to cast a terrible curse on you and your family! Aren't you afraid of her terrible magic powers????

As a former Trump supporter it was the pedo conspiracy that actually made me realize how utterly stupid I was being for supporting Trump. I had a lot of doubts before but that was what really woke me up. They'll make up anything if they think it will fit their anti-Hillary narrative.

If they think this junk will help their campaign they're dead wrong. It's just gonna drive all the moderates and millennials they have to the Hillary side or third party.

Thank you.

I apologize for the down votes, but that's coming from the donald bots, not us humans.

I just read a story about that. (hadn't heard it before so I did a quick google search) They cite 1 email that is pretty unsuggestive. That's ridiculous.

But pizza....

Did they forget that pizza is delicious?

That explains why she has such a sophisticated database of individual voters and who they are supporting...

She's like Santa but female.

Wait, why did you get downvoted?

Edit: not anymore.

I'd imagine it's a kneejerk reaction to "female" most commonly used on this site as "why won't feeeeeemales date me?"

It's used correctly here though, as an adjective.

I think you're overestimating how much if the electorate is on reddit and is that stupid. The Donald guys don't really believe she runs a sex ring they're just screaming into an echo chamber out of what I assume has to be extreme boredom and frustration over having such tiny penises.

But how else can one become all powerful without drinking the blood of babies and worshipping the dark lord. I mean I guess you could fill out a V1-CO2 which would let you bypass the slaying of a young family, but you would still have to sacrifice one of your own before midnight. 6 of one, half dozen of the other, really.

[–]kenlubinTrudge Up the Hill

Meh. It's hard for me to see anyone who would believe the Satanist stories being otherwise persuadable. In the meantime, it alienates the "conspiracy theories at any cost" crowd.

BBC World had a full documentary on today recounting the *alleged conspiracy to cover up the murder of Vince Foster. All the nut jobs who are obsessed and wrote books about it were featured.

One thing I never understood about the "Clintons are murderers and worse" meme is how did they lose to obama in 2008. Let's think of all the conspiracies. The Clintons both riddled with AIDS and Parkinson's, so there's no reason to think Hillary would be alive to run in 2016. Not to mention, she knows obama plans to destroy America's economy, so she probably wouldn't get elected anyways if she survived until 2016. Hillary has no scruples or respect for democracy, so why choose to lose in 2008? It makes no sense if you accept any of the Clinton conspiracy theories.

Conspiracy theorists have weird compartmentalized views of reality. They never apply the implications for one theory unto any other theory.

The number one proof against the theory that the Clintons murder their enemies is that Anthony Weiner is still alive.

I want to know how Ken Starr and Linda Tripp managed to escape their murderous wrath.

Honestly the fact that Bill is still alive proves that Hillary isn't a murderer.

I remember being on Digg in 2008 and all the nutjobs were convinced she was going to rig the election back then too

[–]CatbirdtreeNasty Woman 54

conspiracy to cover up the murder

You mean, the conspiracy theory that Vince Foster was murdered.

There can't be a conspiracy to cover up something that didn't happen.

I like the ones where, failing to find anything real, they literally just come up with crazy theories.

Like this comment from the_deplorable:

OK, let's just assume for a minute that the following code words are pedo-code.

Pillows = drugs
jizz = map
Pasta = little boy
Cheese = little girl
Hotdog = young boy
Pizza = young girl
realtors = people that clean up any evidence
ice cream = male prostitute
walnut = person of colour

Search Podesta's wikileaks and prepare to gag. And they really love talking about their pizza and pasta...

At this rate, it's only a matter of time until they'll want to start rounding up food bloggers around the country.

[–]12hatchSocialists for Hillary 64

What a completely normal assumption to make.

Also, why is jizz a code word for map?

Something to do with novelty handkerchiefs being interpreted as clear evidence of child-rape orgies.

I could give a more detailed explanation, but it wouldn't make any more sense.

[–]JiggumbobI ♥ Hillary 27

That is a highly innovative way to make the claim that someone said whatever you want them to have said regardless of the actual words used.

OK let's just assume the following words in your comment are pedo code:
Innovative = genius
Said = raped
Words = actions

You son of a bitch, I'm onto you

What... The... Fuck...?

Some of them have gone batshit insane... some of the things making the front page are just confusing and deranged, and they don't even necessarily make Hillary look bad. It's as if they started posting the fake occult shit hoping it would go viral and appeal to the elderly-with-Alzheimer's vote, but they accidentally started believing it themselves. The mixture of their commitment to the fraud/trolling/meme magic, their cult-like emotional investment in Trump which now goes far beyond politics, and the stress of the election finally happening, has driven some of them into authentic madness.

[–]moltenpantherPokémon Go To The Polls

My wife's parents called her today and she found out that they believe all of these things. Of course, this isn't much of a surprise. Back in college, she got a call from her mom saying Glenn Beck convinced them to buy us emergency apocalypse backpacks of supplies. My wife didn't want to get in a fight so she had to listen to an hour of crazy conspiracy rants about all of this. I just don't understand how it's so easy to believe such a complex series of these stupid theories.

whats wrong with satanists tho

Don't worry, they use bots to get all of their posts to the front page

The conspiracy theories are like a bunch of shitty math proofs

Hillary Clinton is a Demon

Proof: Suppose not, that is suppose that Hillary Clinton is not a demon.

Then Hillary Clinton would not eat children and would not be the incarnation of evil.

But by definition Hillary Clinton does eat children and is the incarnation of evil and so we have a contradiction.

Having show the supposition to be false then the statement Hillary Clinton is a Demon is true. QED

How does this have over 4,000 points with 50% upvoted?

[–]AvgvstaeKhaleesi is coming to Westeros! 345

A lot of brigading from the Deplorables here, think they're getting desperate yet?

Judging by the content on their favorite sub: yes.

[–]MarauderShields618I Voted for Hillary 55

Their sub has gotten worse? The last time I held my nose and ventured over there, half of them were such quality shitposts, that I literally felt dumber every second I spent there.

"UPVOTE TO MAKE THIS PICTURE OF BILL THE GOOGLE SEARCH FOR PEDO! HAR HAR"

"<--- Number of classified documents Crooked Bitch sent to Russia!!1!!1! "

If I can't tell whether your subreddit is legitimate or if it's the troll that mocks you, you might be missing a few billion brain cells.

Much, MUCH worse, yes.

It's almost like a "Crazy-Conspiracy-A-Day" tear off calendar there now.

I am fully expecting something on Monday about Hillary and Bill swinging and swapping with Jay-Z and Beyonce and how that perverted sex orgy was fueled with those frogs that you lick to get hallucinations so they can commune with their Reptilian overlords.

[–]MarauderShields618I Voted for Hillary 1

That's stupid. Why would we lick frogs to commune with our Reptilian overlords? They're amphibians.

Flavor of the day:

Salty. I'll take it over spicy or sweet.

We are witnessing the atomic meltdown of Trump's campaign. Just look at what they're pushing on their subreddit. All the supposed big leaks turned into nothing and they finally realized Kim Dotcom is a troll.

From r/all, just because it's what they are raving about doesn't mean that's the only thing, it's just a big deal in their eyes. Honestly, I just can't wait for the election to get over so I stop seeing all of the trump and Hillary shit overloading r/all. I can't stand either of yalls news. If I want to get information on a candidate I won't do it on Reddit. It's either super damn biased, or wrong, and that's on all sides, Trump, Clinton, Sanders, and Johnson.

If I want to get information on a candidate I won't do it on Reddit.

Also from /r/all. This is the best thing I did in trying to understand what was going on. Using Reddit has just lead to more misinformation than anything else. I highly recommend following specific journalists & news sites on Twitter to watch things develop in real time (sort of like a RSS news feed).

I'd recommend specific people, but A) people have no idea who I am & why they should/shouldn't trust me, and B) this isn't the proper forum for it. But the method works far better for me than Reddit, which is a real shame.

The rhetoric over at r/the_donald... They're acting like Trump dove on a grenade saving a room full of unborn feti (is that plural for fetus?).

There was no gun... LOL!

[–]NeverDrumpf2016Khaleesi is coming to Westeros! 65

But someone dared to exercise his 1st amendment rights by peacefully protesting Trump by holding up a sign, so he obviously deserved to be beat up by Trump's supporters and falsely accused of having a gun so the secret service would arrest him.

But isnt that guy who yelled gun the same as someone screaming bomb on a airplane or fire in a theater?

Serious question: how would the fans on the other side reacted if she was on that scene?

They wouldn't have been beating up a guy with a sign for one.

There's no way to get a gun in, everyone passes through a magnetometer.

If I remember correctly, recently at a rally where Obama was speaking a man with a Trump sign showed up. People booed him, but no one attacked him and when people started to boo, Obama tried to get them to stop and acknowledge the man for exercising his rights and at least voting.

[–]AutoModerator💻 domo arigato 💻[M] 1

Don't boo, vote.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

They are still saying the guy had a gun at the rally tonight, even though secret service has clearly stated there was no gun.

Sorry you're being downvoted for stating the truth. But clearly Donut supporters have an issue with reality in all its forms.

Like I said before. The most likely outcome in my opinion is that horrible sub is shut down within an hour after the election is called. As soon as Reddit as a company is free from any chance of controversy about "affecting the election" they will commit to the plan they have likely had for weeks. To shut down that cancer of a subreddit and ban hundreds or thousands of accounts that have been used to violate Reddit ToS.

They'll wait for a new violation of the TOS that they can point to. Won't take long, they can't help themselves now, they'll be even more obnoxious after we "steal" the election from them.

They might not have to wait. I think they've been lenient on the sub because of the potential accusation of partisanship. As soon as that is no longer a burden for them, they can point to the preexisting bots and brigading, etc., as a reason to shut it down.

They've been extremely lenient. There's been plenty of moments where admins have stepped in to tell /r/the_Donald to shove off since they were brigading other subreddits or harassing their moderators.

As a default mod, it's really fascinating to see the shit they get away with.

It's also pretty apparent that they are botting.

The problem with banning a sub like that is it forces them to spread out, which is the one thing no one wants.

They'll be in ever sub spamming away 10x worse than the whole FPH day.

Yeah, but those guys eventually left. I would gladly accept /r/cheeto rage for a week or so if it meant they took their cancer to Voat or something

They didn't leave though. Most of them just spread out and started regrouping in other subs devoted to hate. Just look at T_D's most used image host. You'll also frequently find them slipping their message into defaults, but luckily most of the time it gets downvoted and hidden.

They're still there and they're still a never ending annoyance. It's almost easier to just contain them away somewhere...

It's what I'm least looking forward to.

All the t_d users spilling out everywhere, crying 'voter fraud' 'stolen election' and then just making up stories about how this and that happened to them personally or a friend.

Now I was a bernster, but even I thought the Bernie fallout was stupid (that's not to say I don't think there was a fair bit of corruption, just people were being a bit dumb). But now imagine that turned up to 11.

Unabashed racism, lying, impersonating, and shit throwing.

I'm not looking forward to it. And I feel like reddit will be unusable for several days after.

they've started to compensate for that. There's about 5 other subs that have been formed in the past week. It will be interesting to see how short of a leash they're kept on.

Honestly I hope not too early if Hillary wins. I've suffered through accidentally browsing /r/all for almost a year.

Once Donald is confirmed to not be President, I want to see the payoff in the form of their tears, bitterness, and impotent anger.

I think it is more likely they simply won't accept the outcome of the election and pretend that trump was elected.

Let him believe he won then put him in a room with a disconnected phone line and tell him everything he barks into the phone will be implemented without fail. Then we televise the room and his calls to nowhere as a new reality show titled "The Increasingly Unhinged World of Donald Trump." It'll be yuge.

This probably won't happen, but I'll throw it out there anyways for comedic purposes:

A Mod of a "the_donald" sister sub will shut down their sub (Hillary for prison, uncensored news, whatever) after the election is called, but the_donald and their other subs will cry and scream that Reddit is actively targeting them and making it seem like the admins are coming for them and that the_donald will be shut down next.

This won't happen, but with the amount of conspiracy theories the_donald and them have been systematically pumping out, it very well could.

Huh, I've never seen this sub on /r/all before. Good job!

Every post gets downvoted to oblivion here on a consistent basis.

But Reddit is totally a libural circlejerk. The right-wingers who occupy 19 out of 20 spots on /r/all every day all day told me!

That subreddit has reached new levels of hysteria. They're panicking so much, but trying to hide behind bluster and arrogance.

"OMG the tolerant left tried assassinating Trump at a rally today!!!!! Did you see Donald? He stared down his would be killer. If looks could kill, that assassin would be dead!"

"You do realize it was a guy holding a sign and not a gun."

"Can't stop Trump, we're gonna MAGA!"

I heard the sign said "Republicans against Trump" but I need verification on that. If true, it wasn't even "the left."

*edit evidence!

Oh my god, that's amazing. I knew it was just a sign, didn't know it was a republican holding it!

The sad part is if you watch the video he seems like a really genuinely nice/chill guy. He's like "these people are Americans, and I love them." I totally would totally have a drink with him.

[–]SineoflifeLove & Kindness 11

Yeah we've been a real bastion of calm and level headedness here at /r/hillaryclinton. No panic or hysteria in the last week whatsoever.

There's a bunch of legit criticism that can be made about Hillary, but it's all already been said, has it not? The emails are information that can be potentially new, but also give us insight on something most Americans don't see. I mean hell, if you want to get technical though, all the left focuses on is how this is "an election of morales." Does that mean Trump's policies are good, since only his morales could be bad? You guys will clearly say no, but you guys also clearly don't think it's important enough to make posts about it, just like /r/The_Donald doesn't when it comes to Hillary.

B-bu-but the smoking gun... they found another smoking gun. This time its legit, i promise /s

I am so fucking sick of this election. Thank you the_donald for finally helping me make a decision I've been thinking about as a life-long republican. Goodbye GOP. No - I'm not a democrat. I'm now an independent and if the polls are close in my state - I'll be voting for Hillary. Yes I'm coming out of a non-commenting passive watcher (what is it called? Lurker?) to announce it. I can't stand what the GOP has become and I can't stand the GOP politicians who have said they are voting for Trump or have endorsed him. The party has become weak and feckless and out of control and no longer anything close to the party I used to support as one that believed in fiscal and personal responsibility and believed in putting the well being of the country over all other things, especially self-serving greed. Goodbye GOP.

Why hasn't the_dingus been quarantined by Reddit?

Because it's the top sub for a shudders major party presidential candidate. Closing it before the election would be horribly partisan. I imagine that shortly after the election they'll get the axe

Yea well they should at least close down the OFFICIAL alt-right sub. That space openly tolerates and advocates for racial violence.

Edit: I was asked to provide "exactly one example", but the comment got deleted. I will do so anyway... Screen shot I saved on my phone. (You can search the users and find the post in their comment histories if you feel inclined. I'm done exploring that darkness.) The topic of this particular "discussion" was police brutality and whether or not white victims of police shootings get enough media coverage. You may notice the subtle choice in username flair "save animals; test on sub-humans", just before you get to the shocking core of how this person really feels.

So on this post, if we assume 50% is 50.5% getting rounded down, at 4916 score, about a million people voted on this post. (more if the number is closer to 50%).

That's fucking insane.

[–]nit-pickyIt's About Damn Time!

Unreal. Can you provide the formula you used to arrive at that number?

We can figure out how many people upvoted by dividing 50.5 with .5(since we know this is = 4 916)

which is 101

multiply 101 by 4 916, and we get the total number of upvotes

496 516*2-4 916 for the total number of votes = 988 116

So the formula is

= (Upvoted%/(Upvoted%-50%))*[Score]*2-[Score]

I already voted for Hillary in Indiana (went straight ticket), but there's plenty of legitimate criticism for her. The only issue is that Trump is so off-the-wall crazy it's almost pointless to say "but she's hawkish" when Trump sounds like a man who would nuke the middle east to start over with a clean slate.

[–]NeverDrumpf2016Khaleesi is coming to Westeros! 19

Perspective is important, is she more hawkish than Obama? Yes.

Is she as hawkish, or even close, to Bush, Rubio, Christie, Kasich, or the other establishment Republicans? Not even close.

As for Trump we have no idea what he is, but he's so easily baited I have a feeling the second a pundit criticized him for being weak he'd feel the need to prove he's strong by starting a war. If he wins we better hope Hannity doesn't decide we need to invade Iraq again.

While I don't necessarily disagree with you, I still think that the emails are a big deal. I don't think the two are necessarily mutually exclusive.

Yeah.. I was a big time hillary supporter until I saw the recent wiki leaks. I mean, I know people just label that stuff as politics but is it really ok to just be fine with that stuff? And there doesn't seem to be any repercussion from it other than a few people stepping down. Maybe i m over thinking it and it really is fine.

Podesta gets invited to a performance art thing he didn't go to. Therefore, Hillary is a satanist.

Sound logic of a group of people who should totally be taken seriously. /s

In all seriousness, I didn't take reddit as a place where so many people would be shocked by the avant garde. But, hey when it fits your narrative!

Crazy active is one thing but if you go on their page right now you'd be hard pressed to find anything that has sub 1000 upvotes. Hell most of them have over 2000 upvotes.

They are either the most active sub or botting, i'm not sure which one but both are sad for different reasons.

so no proof

To be fair, when you see many posts that have 3000 votes within an hour, during a time zone that only Europe is awake, and the post has like less than ten comments, doesn't that look suspicious? (Yes, I have seen many posts like that on that subreddit)

They were confirmed as a bot farm months ago, but its Trumps official reddit and his campaign team posts there so Reddit just changed the algorithm rather than deal with the potential fallout.

The following upvote scripts were widely disseminated throughout 8chan's /pol/ board. IIRC the reddit admins said that they were "looking into it" or something a month or so ago but they didn't comment any further. It isn't so much botting but rather scripted mass-upvoting which in my opinion would explain why so many posts consistently hit the front page even if the content is awful.

I think we all know or at least strongly suspect that by now.

There's nothing there. she used a server she shouldn't have. Big Fucking Deal. There's no nefarious activity. It's straight up bullshit.

Does anyone know where I can find that copypasta of all the horrible things Trump has said and done contrasted with Hillary's emails?

It goes something like,

Both candidates have a lot to answer for. Hillary's emails. Trump's support of sexual assault. Hillary's emails. Trump not knowing why we can't use nuclear weapons. Hillary's emails. Trump wanting to ban Muslims from entering the country. Hillary's emails.

... and so on. I can't seem to find it anywhere.

As someone who watches this election from outside of the US - It is nice to see something from Hillary on the front-page for a change. This smut from r/the-donald is disgusting. Hope best for Hillary - even when I am unsure about her, as a German, it is not that hard to fear Trump and his way of action - brings back too much feelings from the history-lessons.

This one was hilarious: https://np.reddit.com/r/The_Donald/comments/5bcxl7/here_it_fucking_is_the_smoking_fucking_gun_shes/

I'm 100% sure the OP believed all of the damning stuff in that email was written by Hillary, not Colin Powell.

I mean, they're clearing fucking nuts... but to say hillary has NO legitimate criticisms is pretty nuts too. Ghandi had legitimate criticisms

Jesus Christ, this is some of the worst brigading I've ever seen on Reddit. Doesn't Reddit have rules against that? Not that any of these deplorable individuals have much respect for rules.

This post really rustled some deplorable jimmies. I love it.

175k votes on a sub with 34k subs and 2k active people. Not suspicious at all guys.

Do you realize how /r/all works?

This is like their highest post ever.

[–]AndIHaveMilesToGo♥ Bermie 30

Well I mean I'm not subbed but I voted from /r/all. I assume you're a Donald guy, so don't even start with vote manipulation accusations dude.

So as a 3rd party what does Hilary say about the emails?

That it was a mistake to have such lax security but that there was no criminal wrongdoing. Which is exactly what every investigation into the matter has concluded.

I know... I just wish there wasn't such an unfair bot advantage on their side promoting sensational propaganda.

If there were any evidence of widespread bot usage, the admins wild have nuked it by now. It's pretty likely there's just a shit ton of people upvote everything, since their user base is so active.

Donald sub is a look inside the mind of Jason Chaffetz and Trey Gowdy.

I'm sorry, but how far up your own ass do you have to be to even think there isn't any new, damaging info in the emails? Better yet, despite it being conspiracy theory filled weirdos on TD, to just dismiss any detail brought to light on it is just lying to yourself.

If there's anyone that doesn't like either candidate, don't "Well, this one seems less worse" to me, don't vote. Don't think "well shit sucks" and then it only gets worse when you -know- you helped pick one of them.

I think legitimate criticisms end up being heavily downvoted by Clinton supporters while wild accusations get a pass as it makes Trump supporters look crazy.

but what about bingaaazouuuuuuuuuuuuuu reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
for a group of people who are adamant that their nominee is anti establishment and not in ties with the Russians or any other special interest groups would pressure him on his tax return to prove it.
but i guess a few pictures of a frog are much better.

We know. It's ok. Soon the deplorables will go home and the admins can finally shut down their enclave of Russian bots without looking like they're taking sides.
