I have been following this for some time. I never really got an answer.

I am a 16 year old female with a (drumroll) girlfriend. Hence gay. Gay, no matter what sex, is not received well by Muslims and we have had a huge influx of Muslims to Sweden.

I have had several different people spit at me and my girlfriend, while we are out with her kid (3 year old). And no, none of them natives Swedes.

This is not a race issue. This is more of a, what do you think will happen if you let people in with medieval beliefs? Magically reform when they touch down on JFK?

I am truly worried, and in Sweden it is definetly a growing problem. I know fundamentalist christians despise homosexuality too, but alot of people we in Europe take in, and you contemplate taking in, comes from countries where it is "A"-okey to rape a lesbian, or perhaps stone them a bit, if that doesn't work - lets just behead her.

Who will defend us? I sure as hell know that it won't be society, based on how Sweden acts.
