I have just compiled the data I pulled from the Florida Election website last night 11.04 (There are now slightly updated numbers).

You can see a few things that jump out at you. First is the voter enthusiasm. The TABLEas posted is sorted by % of turnout vs. population per county from best to worst.
Notice how the first 24 counties in a row are red, in the table!! Also at the bottom 7 of the bottom 10 are blue.

The second is how close the state is (less than 2,000 votes). This is because of Boward County.

Broward County deserves a bit of special attention no just because it is going blue. But because it is doing so with over a 33% difference no other counties with the large population is going blue by margins this wide. This is not a small difference. From a population perspective, places like Miami-Dade or Palm Beach are both similar, but they are going blue by a little more than 18%.

Disclaimer:

  1. I have eliminated counties with under 15% (2 counties, both blue) or over 45% return rates (1 county, red).

2) I need a second set of eyes on this so please PM me if you think you can help with regression and standard deviation analysis.

              If you break it down by district Trump leads in most of the state (by area) and Sanders even is ahead of Clinton in the areas where Trump leads. The highly populated areas show leads by Clinton though. It's for sure close. District Map

              Hi all, first I want to say great sub, very entertaining. I am a Jill supporter in California who defends DT all the time despite not aligning w/my politics. I hate HRC for obvious reasons and definitely want DT to win. I was planning to vote for Jill since my vote doesn't count in CA.               In the end you've got to vote how your heart and conscience tells you to. My views align more with Johnson, but if I want any chance of keeping Hillary from getting to the presidency I know that Trump needs the support. I don't have any issues at all with a woman president, just not this woman. You can't think that just because California is usually a blue state that your vote doesn't matter. One vote may seem insignificant to you, but when you take your 1 and add it to everyone else it matters. California wasn't always a blue state, and it probably won't always be one either.

              I think California recently gained 4 seats from the last census, thus making those 4 electoral votes (same number as NH). This is how Illegal persons can influence the elections. The census counts illegal immigrants and can add districts to the maps. Being that many of the cities here are "sanctuary cities" they keep coming and staying. With us being a "blue" state that's free votes for the blue team.

              As someone else said, Stein won't be president; Clinton or Trump will be. It's true, most people here seem to like Stein. She's a badass and she keeps things real. But she's not going to be president this election. Vote Stein if you want, I won't hold it against you...but imagine how delicious it would be if Trump won CA.

              Voting for Stein or Trump both send a message...but voting Trump is the only vote that could potentially make a difference in California.
