Your smartphone is already incredibly powerful.
You already do a lot on your smartphone: It's convenient, portable, and holds all of your apps, files and contacts.
In fact, you could accomplish a lot more with it, but are often held back by its features or overall mobility.
Thats why we created the OV Smartwatch, to remove those restrictions and give you the freedom of using OV with all the data and apps you already have in your smartphone. It is compatible with iOS and Android running smartphones and computers. You can use your OV Smartwatch with almost every smartphone and computer out there!
The right watch becomes part of your signature style. The OV Watch lets you build a bespoke timepiece that expresses your individual look. Choose from a range of premium casings and fine leather or stainless steel straps. Once you have your perfect watch, you can dress it for every occasion with a variety of bespoke watch faces to choose from.

We have worked tirelessly for the last 26 months developing the OV Smartwatch. We have:
- Assembled a team of engineers and designers
- listened and incorporated various market needs
- Built 4 generations of prototypes
- Designed the final prototype with production processes in mind
- Established relationships with key manufacturing suppliers
Our team consists of ex-IBM engineers and Designers from the Swiss watch industry. Combined they have 36 years of experience in their fields. The products they've had a hand in leading or building have been used by over 2 billion people in the world.
We want people all over the world to enjoy the OV Smartwatch, and we've done our best to pre-negotiate shipping rates to each major country.
However, you don't have to worry about that since the shipping rates for every country are included in the backing total already!
We are also pleased to offer a three-year limited warranty on all our products. We believe that our products should be of the highest quality and we will work hard to solve any problem that may occur with our products.
Risks and challenges
We know we can't make a high quality finished product without strong relationships with our suppliers and manufacturing partners. We have already started to build that foundation way before launching our project on Kickstarter and have spent the past three years nurturing and maturing those relationships along with our own expanding internal team. There will be some differences as we move into larger scale manufacturing of a mass market device and are building a comprehensive team of mentors, consultants, and industry advisors to help guarantee our success.
There are always timeline risks with product development, we have fully validated the OV Smartwatch in functioning prototypes and are confident that we will deliver a high quality finished product on time and defect free.
Will there be issues and concerns along the way? Yes is the only real answer. Our supporters will continuously be informed on the progress we're making towards delivering their order. If an unforeseen issue poses a potential delay to our timing, then we will be transparent and timely in our communication to the people who are making our growth a reality.
