I had a conversation with my wife last night about how, for the first time in a couple months, I thought Trump could actually pull this one ahead. There's still a major obstacle in his way (himself), but listening to him talk about the FBI investigation and honing that in, made things less terrible.

I've read Hillary has a slight lead there.... which makes me nervous. If she wins Florida it's over.

Obama took Florida in '12 by 4% EV.... and he barely took it home by .9% in the final counts. If Clinton and Trump are neck and neck like the news is reporting... this'll be close.

Romney also lost independent voters in FL. Qpoll has Trump with a 7% lead with them.

Last I saw GOP has more ballots than Dems, but only by about 70k votes or so (I might be wrong on this). AA support and turnout is lower for Hillary than Obama and turnout is higher so far in Panhandle than in 2012, which is great news for Trump as he will kill it there.

Another thing: Trump does better with Indies than Romney, and I actually saw some polls where Trump was outperforming Romney with Cubans in Miami area.

I can't wait. So much salt when we flip this place red come the eighth.

Even offered my old man a ride to the polls since I am in town for the weekend... (the last straight white upper middle class male Democrat alive) and he told me in the most defeated tone "No I won't be going".

Yes. Looks like Ohio and Iowa should be safe for him. Florida and NC early voting suggests he may very well win both. NH polls looking good for him lately. Nevada polls too, although EV makes it hard to tell exactly what will happen there. He has closed Michigan and Pennsylvania nicely. Even Wisconsin is closer than thought earlier. Colorado could be a shock win for him too.

I dream of the pusses on obama and hrc after she loses. The anguish of turning back all of their horrible liberal policies. I'm trying to keep myself from getting too excited. I expect the Dems are going to be doing a lot of cheating..and that has to be factored in when talking of Trump's chances.

I hope there is a large scale uprising if there is significant evidence of cheating. We can't stand for that. I can accept a fair loss, that's what democracy is all about. I can't accept cheating. I have liberal friends who would accept a Clinton presidency even if she cheated to get it. They claim "the stakes are too high, Donald Trump literally cannot be president."
