I hadn't watched this movie until recently and was pleasantly surprised when I heard a character say that line. Basically, he says he knows he's the smartest man in the group by default since he's the only one who hadn't married. In a time where agendas are being shoved down our throats, and ridiculous Mary Sue characters are running rampant, it's refreshing to hear something like this.
