Honestly, I hope this is what rebuilding looks like. I still believe in Mourinho and I hope things look a lot better at the end of the season. Time will tell

We are facing the storm after the calm. Fergie was a character in his own right, winning the titles with players that wouldn't even get into our first team now. I am positive though. We will rise again.

The owners can only do so much. They've not hesitated in spending like maniacs. The problem, as many of us know, are the players who are trying to find their feet as part of a new team, and a coach who is himself going through a transition, seemingly. We are going to be frustrated most likely; throughout this season. But we will achieve a breakthrough. Mourinho is the closest we get to Fergie now. But Fergie era is over. Lets get behind Mou.

Glazers are problem because 1) they put the club in debt and hence tied Fergie's hands in several transfer windows 2) because they had Fergie overperforming they didn't start squad rebuild in time

We would've had better manager transition if rebuild (investments) were more aggressive and in time.

One thing that I do give them credit is that they are not trying to run football side of the club but I also feel they have caused issue in the boardroom that has made us a poor man's version of Galacticos.

Do we know that the glazers have restricted transfers and forced managers not to pursue targets?

I believe so. We lack a director of football. The board is just made up of businessmen. Look at man city, they got txiki and a bunch of experts. (cant remember their names) As much as i hate them, their player recruitment and management has been top notch. Gundogan, nolito, fernando, fernandinho. In spite of these influx, they kept a core group of regular quality players, kompany, kolarov, zableta, silva, hart and aguero. They have leaders in kompany, kolarov and zableta.

Us?? Rooney and carrick is declining and can't play every match. Valencia and de gea is our only regular core of players. What leaders do we have?? Valencia is too quiet, de gea keeps to himself too much. Rooney is past it, carrick hardly plays. Our team has no culture, chemistry and camaradie. You got to blame our board for that.

We should have kept vidic, evra, fletcher and rvp. The board should have vetoed their sales.

We should have signed players with the winning attitude and not just buy some random talent recommended by some scout with no man management experience. Players who will die for success not a bunch of pansies who just treat football as a job. No offence but With players like blind, darmian, schneiderlin, martial, lingard, depay, fellaini, we will struggle in the league.

Glazers aparantly made cuts in all departments apart from the first team so I would say yes. The Glazers may even be the root of the problem.
