Jose Mourinho has confirmed Bastian Schweinsteiger will not return to the Manchester United team against Swansea despite concerns over Paul Pogba's fitness.
Pogba limped off in the first half of United's 2-1 defeat to Fenerbahce on Thursday night and is a doubt for the trip to the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
Ander Herrera is suspended after the Spaniard was sent off during the 0-0 draw with Burnley.
But despite the selection problems in midfield, Mourinho has confirmed Schweinsteiger, who only returned to first-team training on Monday and is yet to play this season, will not feature.
He said: "It’s too early for him. He’s been training with the team for three or four days. He’s not ready to play football at that level yet."
