Finally passed my driving test yesterday. 12 years ago I failed due to a really shitty reason and had a proper strop about it that lasted 12 years.

Then took it again earlier this summer and failed for a shite reason, then took it yesterday and passed. I can finally fucking drive!

I feel like when I tell people I'm in my 2nd year of Uni and just passed my driving test, they don't expect me to then say I'm 30 in January.

Last night was pretty rough but there were some positives to take from the game I suppose.

Got back from the USA couple days ago. Went to NYC, drove through Phily to Washington and flew home from there. Great place and loved all the tourist stuff.

So I bought Gears of War 4 & Battlefield. Always been a lifelong Gears fan so I'm enjoying that but Battlefield I haven't even opened yet. I heard the leveling system makes the multiplayer a bit pointless so I'm not really bothered about it now.

Ended up getting COD last night for COD4. This day needs to hurry up so I can go home and bang it out all night like 14 year old me used to do.

If everything goes well, within a few weeks a friend and I will be founding a football club. That's so fucking cool.

My wife received confirmation that she passed her dissertation, so she's a Master now. Great stuff and she deserves it so much. In fact, from January she'll start working in the subject she's quite an expert in.

We'll have to wait until January to move into our new flat. And we still have to find it...

But it's good. Life is fun right now.

Watching Batman Forever right now. God this movie is so bad, but I loved it as a kid and it has some kind of nostalgic vibe so I don't mind watching it from time to time.

Ha same! It was one of my favourite movies as a kid. I loved the exaggerated colours and the way Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carey bounced off each other. Still my favourite Two Face :)

I owned the Mega Drive game which was one of the few games on the system with the digitised renders of photo sprites - I thought it was one of the best looking games I had ever seen. Damn fun to play too.

Who has been watching this? I ain't been as addicted to a show since game of thrones. It's so good, after every episode I have more questions than answers it just has you thinking about it till the next one. And Sir Anthony Hopkins is superb, Ed Harris is a beast, Thandi Newton awesome too, and cyclops is also great in it. Would highly recommend it.

Anyone get Titanfall 2? I'm tempted to get it, but might wait n see if it drops in price soon

I am just so sick and tired of all these negative comments lately, both from our fans and others, that I wanted to go on a rant and try to explain myself, what I think happened/is happening with the club, and more importantly the understanding of the fans and football viewership in general. But I just searched for it, and apparently we have just had a "Get a grip" thread, just 11 days ago (after Chelsea match), so I decided against it. It looks like people never learn, or are simply too ignorant.
I find it really saddening and it makes me almost hate the game and the club that I loved for the past 15 years.

I think people are allowed to react after matches like last night though man. Last night reminded me so much of our other European nights under LVG, where we just didn't look like we gave a shit.

That worries me more than the results - Half the team looked like they were just jogging through a training exercise.

No, no, of course they are allowed to react, they have every right to do so. But please see that I wrote not "after last night" but "lately", by which I mean the time passed since Mourinho's appointment. Actually even before that, last year or so.

About the performance last night, there should be no excuses, and I am hopeful Mourinho will address the lack of hunger, intention and energy of the players.

Yeah I know what you mean - it is irritating to read that the sky is falling down every single week that we have a bad result but we do it to ourselves really. We have a shit season, buy some good players and then think that's the next season sorted when in reality, those players need time to bed in, the manager needs time to bed in and the problems with half the squad reach much further back than just this season.

I know he has an awful rep and is hated across the sport and I know he had a poor season with Chelsea but I'd much prefer to back Mourinho to hollow out and re-build this squad if he can't turn some of those lethargic fucks around.

Absolutely spot on. We are just 15 games into the season, and people are calling out names, blaming manager and players week in week out, it is infuriating. About "just buying players" thing though, I am not so sure. We have our third new manager in 4th year since Sir Alex retired, and they all had different ideas of what to do, and bought players accordingly. I think the overhaul should have happened right then and there, and Mourinho joined just a little too late. Therefore we saw, and we will see more of, a lot of players coming in to a little effect.

I can not understand why people simply cannot be calm and not reactionary for one season, hell, just couple months and see how the team actually develops.

Interesting week for me. Working away from home in London, and am staying in a hotel. My girlfriend lives in London, and spent every night in the hotel with me. I told her I loved her for the first time, and she returned the favour and it was all sappy. Problem is though, she goes back home to the US mid-December, and probably won't be coming back. Possibly in the summer if she can get a paid internship.

Well my placement year is turning out to be pretty bloody brilliant- Sunderland emailed us saying they wanted a plant tour and stayed a bit for a meet and greet with everyone! Defoe at least made me seem average height

McNair was a bit quiet but nice enough, didn't want to bother him asking for a photo.

And I managed to have a quick chat with Moysey who is apparently a fucking giant, really nice though and he (as well as the rest of the squad) made time for everyone else.

Most people who work here are Sunderland season ticket holders so I bet they were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome considering how they're playing atm (although I know a few people who didn't bother leaving their desks to go and see them haha)

Yesterday I saw the National geographic documentary with Leonardo Di Caprio "Before the flood" a great movie about climate change. Can't believe that some politicians get payed to deny that it's hapøening.

Wasn't even arsed about losing last night in the slightest. Didn't expect us to get anything from the game. Best fucking win against the Welsh cunts though.

Finally got in to FUT and qualified for the weekend league.. now I see why it's so addictive. My girlfriend is working a nice long shift till midnight tomorrow so I'll have plenty of time to smash it. Not too confident with my team though. Rashford is always missing the easiest chances for me :(
