It's not difficult to let the people that fund you know how things are getting on inventing a great product should give gd customer service unless it's top secret, at least let your backers know how it's going/pictures or even if it's bad news
@Adam Paulin
Maybe some informations should be provide about how this project evolve ? You promise a december delivery date so we'd be glade to have some news !
Thanks
I'm still hoping for the best, but seems like a lot of worrying information on internet about thin ice being a scam...hope that Kickstarter can help do the necessary checks with thin ice producers.
So, I just looked at the sizing for women. I would much rather go by bust size. Every company has different sizing. I might wear an XL from one company and XXL from another. Also, because I have had two mastectomies, it becomes a more important issue that I order the proper size. Thank you.
@Victoriafroeba the sizing chart can be found on the indiegogo thin ice campaign page as well is in the e-newsletter sent out today. Please continue to send all inquiries to support@thiniceweightloss.com for quicker and more complete responses
Would you be willing to postpone the device and use the new thinner batteries that will be getting released next year. Doubling capacity for phones and hopefully the year after for electric cars?
@ Aaoron and Anoosh. Please email your paypal email and the number of batteries you would like. Support will invoice you and add batteries to your order.
@Amy: As per my reply to Joshua, Adam is currently working with the developers to try and make an XS, but it is difficult to integrate the tech into something that small. The chart is a downloadable chart which Adam has used to scale his vest on. I apologise to everyone if the chart has mislead you with the XS sizing on it.
@Joshua: The vest is still in development and currently XS is not very feasible to integrate the tech into. Adam is working with the developers to try and make an XS, but it can not be guaranteed at this point in time.
@ Everyone: Mike from customer service here. Just a heads up for everyone. I will be answering all questions for the following week. I will be answering questions today until 2pm and will not have access to internet until Monday afternoon.
@Daniella: Thank you for your message! The original survey will lock you out after completing it so I sent a new survey link to your registered email so you can fill out a fresh one and ensure the data is correct.
Please do let us know if you have additional questions!
I submitted my survey already but I need to make a change in the size of the second best that I ordered. How do I modify the survey after it has already been submitted?
@Bree, + everyone: Mike from customer service here. There is a size chart. It is at the bottom of the thin ice campaign page. For sizes larger than XL, please add 2 inches for every size increase. Each size accommodates a 2 inch range as well.
@Bree: There is a size chart at the bottom of our Kickstarter page but we will work on adding one to the survey when we can to ensure everyone is on the same page. Keep in mind the Vest and undershirt are in line with standard US t-shirt sizing as a point of reference. Thank you.
@Damian: Thanks for your message. Most people asking for refunds have also contacted us directly and explained they are withdrawing for personal financial reasons or that they are achieving their weight-loss goals a different way, etc. Thin Ice is not a scam whatsoever and Kickstarter would not have let us launch if that was the case. Those insoles were pitched on Dragon's Den (a Canadian show) in a very early stage of their development over a year ago since they were the first "iteration" of the direction we wanted to take Thin Ice. We have since shifted our focus to the vest but may explore footwear again in the future. The vest can be worn for activity or sleep (it does serve as the "pyjamas" for current intents and purposes". The vest can be machine washed because the technological components will be removable. Please let us now if you have any additional questions! Thank you.
@Kris: No problem! We are just excited to be accommodating as many backers as possible! We are always eager to hear of any other requests our backers have for the devices. Thank you!
Hi, backer #1039 and I would like to cancel my pledge and request a refund as I have lost confidence in the project. This will be $243CAD + $70CAD for the second vest, so a total of $313CAD. Thank you.
Hi Adam - unfortunately I'd have to withdraw my pledge for this project, I'm backer 738, and my pledge was $318 CAD. Please confirm if you've got me on the refund list...thanks and all the best!
Use this space to cheer the creator along, ask questions, and talk to your fellow backers. Please remember to be respectful and considerate. Thanks!

Hi, I'm about worried when I read a number of articles with negative comments about thin ice products... Is your company doing anything about them to disprove them? https://m.reddit.com/r/videos/comments/4swoxv/thin_ice_on_kickstarter_just_scammed_another_250k/

I never received a backer number that I've been able to find, but I would like to back out at this time please. Gena Simmons.
