I know people are quite down and negative towards the team at the moment with people saying its either the players or Jose's fault, people say we need to axe the manager or we need another clear-out of the players, calm down a little bit guys. We were never going to win the league on Jose's first season, that's wishful thinking. I know this may sound negative but the current level of our team now is Europa League and a spot on the top four, we have to face reality, we have to let go about winning the league now. Despite saying that though, I am not too worried because we can still get back to the top level, we just need 3 key players in 3 key positions.

A centerback, defensive mid, and a ten who can also play second striker if needed. All three has to be starters to be the new spine of the team. We don't need a clear-out of the players, we don't have to axe the manager, stop worrying and relax a little bit.

We see now in the centerback position that Bailley and Smalling are out and this is a nightmare scenario that needs to be resolved by signing another one. We played Blind and Rojo but as Jose said in his press conference it was a problem playing two leftbacks there, and we know we cannot rely on Jones.

As for defensive mid: Herrera, Carrick and Schneiderlin can play there but lets face reality, we need someone who specialize in that position we need someone better and a true defensive mid.

The ten position is a controversial one since a lot of people here tend to agree that we need to play a 4-3-3 without a ten. But the reality is that Jose is playing with a ten and I highly doubt he will change that in the future.

I pinpointed out these 3 positions mainly because of the players I see leaving next window. These 3 players are Jones which is unreliable, Carrick which cannot possibly play forever, and sadly Rooney. If we fill all these 3 with not just new players but also starters to form a new spine, I think we will be back to top level football. I mean winning the league and being back and competitive in the Champion's league.

Despite the recent results and the current position in the league, I am still not worried about the team looking forward into the future in the next seasons to come. Lets calm down a little bit, we don't need to axe anyone or clear-out many of our players. Three new starter players is all we need.
