Defend, explain, excuse, rationalize

These are the tools for faggots. I wonder if it's the problem of helicopter parents. I see them all the time, constantly appealing to the logic of their 5 year old children. That child doesn't care, but learn through that brow-beating repetition that explaining yourself is how adults talk. And now you're here. That faggot who thinks it's good to talk to replacement mommy about the 'why' you have made your decision.

Part of you wants her to be on board with team you. And fuck if it doesn't hurt your feelings when she decides to shit all over you for your outpouring of logic and rationalization. By asking mommy for her blessing, you're giving her the power to shut down your decision. What did you think she was going to do?

There's a few reasons why DEER happens.

• You aren't confident about the decision you have made, and for some fucked-up reason, you think that expressing your uncertainty will help get confidence from the herd.
• You are confident about it, and want to show off how great your leadership is, all while getting a pat on the head, and a kiss on your dick from mommy.
• At some point in the process, you realized your decision was a stupid fuck decision, and are working overtime to build a hamster story to bullshit yourself.

Lack of confidence

Easy fix. Before you open your stupid fucking mouth, think. Does this choice provide you with some benefit, or avoid some risk? Then trust it. If you have to do some action to build confidence for your decision, do it before you open your fucking mouth. Do you buy that new toy for yourself? Did you budget it? Do you have an emergency fund? Best get on that, so when you buy your new quad, you know you're still eating this month.

The second one is just as simple. Assume she hates your decision, because she does. It's your fucking job to not give a shit. She will fight, kicking and screaming, regardless of how well it's being executed. Women rely on the Ethos, above almost all else. They don't care about the message, only that it's being delivered by a man they respect. They don't know what a good decision is, all you have to do is open your ears to all the bullshit they spew on a daily basis to see for yourself. And they know, they fucking — know — they have no idea, somewhere, deep down in that lizard brain inside her pretty little head.

They only know how to trust an authority, so fucking be one. You don't have to actually be one, just shut the fuck up about your doubts, the bar for competent-fuck is pretty god damned low, what with the new fangled products and shit we got to help out. A hundred years of engineering successes have removed death-by-failure from the system. You now live in a society that you have to actively work at killing yourself, or others, one stupid decision won't mess it up.

As for the third, you're a fuck, you were better off with a non-apology, or just moving on. It was made, it wasn't great, but we are here now, no reason to bitch about it cupcake. Give her a smack on the ass, a kiss on the forehead, and get back to something, preferably lifting heavy things.

The golden solution

The best solution out of all this is to STFU. I put that above lifting on the RP map of every man.

Yes. Having said that, the guy who doesn't lift is no worse than when he started. He started at 0, and is still a 0. the guy who opens his fucking mouth every-time he has a twinge of beta bullshit, is actively drying vaginas, and helping divorce proceedings. That man started at 0, and is now down 50% gross income and child visitation. So STFU.

An exercise

I randomly decided 100 practice sessions is enough time to understand the concept of shutting your fucking mouth, so here we go. Every-time you talk to your woman with a decision, stop. Ask yourself the following:

1. Am I explaining my thought process?
2. Am I going to start this next sentence with a so, well, or other bullshit qualifier?
3. Did she immediately jump into 'micking at me' mode?

Then shut the fuck up. It's real simple. Eventually, you will the idea in your head, the idea that you will make decisions, think about the consequences and details, and do things without her permission See you on the other side champ
